I froze
Visiting our grandchildren in Boyne and HOPING to get a good night’s sleep, we got a room. We arrived after dark and the room was quite cold. After many slow responses and broken promises, we got NO heat (and temps dropped into the 40s) so did NOT sleep. Last promise was it would be taken care of first thing in the morning. We waited until 10am but finally left to go see the grandchildren. Day was interrupted with phone calls and we returned to a HOT room, which felt like a jab for having “complained”. I requested a reimbursement for one of our nights (as we could have stayed with family and gotten much better sleep). My request was ignored, though the requests for reviews from the host continued. So here’s what you asked for. The space was fine but service horrible. This is the first time I’ve ever posted a negative review and I don’t enjoy it but want people to know.
