Cheerful 2-bedroom cottage on Anderson Island

Welcome to the Robin's Nest on Anderson Island! Our charming cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a sleeping loft, making it comfortable for six guests.

A short ferry ride from Steilacoom, Anderson Island is the perfect getaway to relax or check out its many amenities. Activities include hiking, beach combing, swimming and floating in our two freshwater lakes, etc.

It's a perfect place to de-stress and relax. We hope you'll treat yourself to a visit!
The space
LIVING SPACE: Wrap-around floor plan and vaulted ceiling. Flat screen tv and blue-ray player with lots of DVDs to choose from.

KITCHEN: Our open kitchen is stocked with everything you need for your stay including a fridge, stove, dishwasher, large microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, glassware, silverware, and serving utensils. We have child-friendly plates/bowls/cups/utensils.

MAIN BEDROOM: Features a king bed and comes with attached full en suite plus plenty of closet space.

SECOND BEDROOM: Features a queen bed and is located right next to the second bathroom.

THE PERCH: Our open loft space includes a full size bed. The railing is on the lower side so not recommended for younger children.

OFFICE SPACE: Need to jump on a Zoom call or catch up on email? Our small, fully-enclosed corner office space next to the main bedroom is the perfect spot.

LAUNDRY: Separate laundry space with full sized washer and dryer.

OUTDOOR SPACE: Located on a quiet half loop street surrounded by trees. Three small decks (one in front and two in back) provide lovely space for enjoying the peace and quiet of the island. There is a gas fire table on the front deck, perfect for cozy evenings. Our fenced in front yard is a perfect spot for families.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house.

There is a four step stairwell from the level driveway to the front deck to access the front door. All rooms in the listing are on the main floor other than the sleeping loft, which requires climbing a steep set of stairs. The back side deck (which provides access to the main floor) can be reached with one tall and one shorter step.

Anderson Island has two fresh water lakes for swimming, a historical farm to visit, numerous parks including Andy's Marine Park and Jacobs Point Park, a golf course, numerous hiking trails and beaches to explore. Our home is a minute's walk from a dock that allows you to access Lake Josephine. The Lakeshore Restaurant is within walking distance of our home and provides yummy food and lovely lake views.

Your Airbnb booking does not include ferry fees from the Steilacoom ferry terminal. You can purchase ferry tickets that include your return trip at the terminal. Ferry demand can be high, especially during peak times, so you'll want to plan for an hour plus wait on either end depending on when you're visiting.

The community on Anderson Island includes many year-round residents, who choose to live here for the peace and quiet. We ask that you do not disturb our neighbors and keep the noise levels to a reasonable level. We do not allow parties at our home.
