Stand alone home located on acreage just miles from Stephenville with easy access to Dublin, Hico, Granbury and surrounding areas. Come enjoy the peace and quiet of the country while having quick access to town just down the road. Horses welcome! $25 per horse per day - stalls provided (see pictures) clean up after - leave in your booking message if you need us to host your horse!

Great for visiting Tarleton

We came down for the Tarleton Stampede. It was a great location and a beautiful home. Will definitely book again if we return to the Stephenville/Dublin area!

Great place

Our trip was amazing for our grandsons wedding! The Lone Oak is an amazing house to stay at when you’re in the Stephenville area! Very clean, fresh and superb!!

Beautiful Country Home

We had 2 graduations to attend the weekend we stayed. The house was close to Stephenville, but nice and quiet out in the country. We would stay again!

Pleasant stay

Property was just as described. Nice, quiet location. It had everything needed for our weekend stay. Property manager was easy to communicate with and answered questions quickly. If we come back to the area we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Beautiful Oasis in the Middle of Texas

We love spending the weekend here near our children who live in Stephenville. It had plenty of room outside for our grandchildren to play while we barbequed and talked. We are looking forward to returning again soon!

Great place.

We loved our stay. The house is wonderful. It was clean and well set up for our family (a group of 6). It is out in the country & very private which was exactly what we wanted, but not too far from town so we could run to stores or restaurants easily. If we find ourselves back in that area again, we will definitely check the availability to stay again.

Beautiful property

Beautiful house and property. Very clean, easy to get to Stephenville, Hico and Granbury from the house. We really enjoyed our stay and will defiantly be back. So peaceful and quiet. Communication with the owners was wonderful. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Quaint and Comfortable Country Home

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Oak Place! This peaceful retreat allowed us to unwind while still being conveniently close to the festivities in Stephenville. The spacious house felt like a true home, and we loved sipping coffee on the patio, soaking in the stunning sunrises. Our host was prompt and accommodating, making our experience even better. We can’t wait to return!

Stayed here while we moved our two boys into their dorm at Tarleton State. house was very nice and well kept. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Loved the floor plan of the house. Would definately stay here again.

Quiet country stay

This place is A-1 perfect for those wanting country but still close to the city life. This place is so close but the feel is far away. I recommend this home and i WILL be using it whenever im near Stephenville , Texas. I'd like to also note the owners are super to deal with and very helpful.
