The Space:

The top floor of this luxurious home features a chef's kitchen, perfect for culinary creations. Enjoy the spacious dining room and the inviting great room, complete with ample seating, a large widescreen TV with a sound bar, and a cozy fireplace for relaxing evenings. The sun-drenched master bedroom, a king en suite, offers a private retreat. This property boasts 7 bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom and private deck access (excluding the ground floor). The ground floor offers a fun-filled game room and a media room equipped with surround sound, a pool table, a wet bar, and a full-size refrigerator. The outdoor amenities include a private pool, open from April 16th to October 20th, and a hot tub. Amenities include: beach chairs, beach wagon, and 16 pool towels. Pool towels are complimentary as long as they are washed and dried before check-out. If you would like to have us launder them, there is a $200 pool rental fee. Guests can enjoy 6-7 parking spots. The property is pet-friendly, subject to charges and suitable for children and infants.

Getting Around:

Can You Really Drive on the Beaches There? Yes! If your vehicle has 4-wheel drive, you can access the 4×4 beaches here. In fact, if you’re renting any of the vacation rental homes on Carova Beach, you’ll need to use the beach access lanes to get there. Please note, the rules for off-road driving and parking have been updated for the coming season, so check for current information on obtaining the proper passes.



Scenic highways connect each island, with ferry options offering passage to more remote stretches. Many areas are bike-friendly, and walking from cottage to coastline is always part of the charm.

Rental Agreement

After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.



Guest Verification with Truvi

To protect our homes and enhance your peace of mind, Sojourn partners with Truvi, a third-party guest verification platform. You’ll receive a direct message from Truvi to complete your verification. Please complete this step before check-in. Visit Truvi’s website to learn more.



Trust & Safety Fee

Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.



Property Access & Maintenance

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.



Baby Gear (Optional Add-On)

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.



Pet Policy

Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $100 per pet (max of 2 dogs). Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.
