Rules and Restrictions
Cozy Corners reserves the right to modify or cancel reservations if it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or when it appears that the reservations contain or result from a mistake or error.

The guest may be charged for any damages, rule violations, disturbances, or
incidentals that may occur at the sole discretion of Cozy Corners. A pre-auth hold of $500 is required during check-in. Charges include but are not
limited to:
- Noise Violations: Noise levels at a property exceeding 75 dB 3 or more times will result
in a fine of up to $500.
- Smoking and Vaping Violations: All smoking and vaping is prohibited inside of Cozy
Corners properties. Any detection of smoking or vaping will result in a $500 fine for each
occurrence.
- Damages to the Property or Surrounding Area: It is the guest’s responsibility to note any
damages or issues with the property within four (4) hours of checking in. Any damages
found not noted to Cozy Corners will be the responsibility of the guest
- Modifications to Check-in or Check-out Times: Early check-ins and late check-outs will
incur a charge of $20.
- Pet Fees: Pets will incur a fee of $25 per pet per day, not to exceed $500 in total fees.
- Additional Guests: Unauthorized overnight guests will incur a fee of $50 per guest per
night.
- Additional Cleaning Fees: If the property is left in an unreasonably untidy or dirty
condition after a guest’s checkout, the guest will be responsible for all additional cleaning
fees required to return the property to its state before check-in. It is at Cozy Corners' sole
discretion to determine if a property is left in an unreasonably untidy or dirty condition.
- Lock Outs: If a guest is locked out and requires a property manager to let them back into
the property, this will incur a $50 fee per occurrence.
- Lost Key: A fine of $50 will be incurred for any guest that doesn’t leave their key in the
lockbox upon checkout.
- Extensive Damage: If the damage a guest causes to a property is extensive such that repairs cannot be made before 5 pm on the guest’s checkout date, the guest will be charged a fee of $150 per night that the property is not able to be rented. Whether the damage is too extensive to be repaired by 5 pm on the checkout date will be determined at the sole discretion of Cozy Corners.

Missed Potential

This most disappointing thing about this property is that it COULD be great. But it's definitely NOT great. From the big issues to the small, it was overall not a great experience. It's like the owners do not pay any attention to their rental. Some of the issues:- It was dirty - onion skins in the kitchen drawers, dirt/dust in the corners of the bedrooms, etc - just small details that indicate they do not actually pay attention when cleaning.- Cosmetic issues like bare nails in the walls, no towel racks in the bathroom, no tea towels in the kitchen, and broken chairs at the dining room table.- One of the bedrooms had a window AC unit in place - in FEBRUARY, when it was 5 degrees outside! there was at least a 1" gap under the unit which basically made it like an open window that we had to stuff with towels to make it warm enough to sleep in. - The owner was completely unavailable on check in day until 30 minutes prior to check in. I had some questions about the check in process that I messaged about in the morning, and did not receive a response for over 6 hours. I have never had a VRBO host be completely unresponsive on a business day, during business hours, and on a check in day! It led me to worry that I would not actually GET check in information, and might have to find a different place to stay. Overall I feel like this place has a lot of potential to be great, but the hosts have a LOT of improvements to make.

Horrible

The key pad did not work and communication was horrible. I was never able to get ahold of the manager so I had to call vrbo to get refunded and find somewhere else to stay for the night at 8pm. Completely unacceptable!!!

When you work on the road

Normally I stay in extended stay hotels, but this was so much better it like home away from home. The place was extremely Clean and cozy

Simple improvements would make a difference

The property has lots of character, but the lock box was not working, though the outside door has a keypad. There were no hand towels in the bathroom, the shower curtain and liner were mildewed, and there were no kitchen towels. Mattresses are not super comfortable. Box springs may help.

Super cute apartment. The window’s are stunning. Cute balcony. Price was awesome! If it were me, i would update the rug in living room. It was pretty dirty and stained. It wasn’t the best first impression right when you walk in. Also, We didn’t arrive until late and there was Zero toilet paper. We had to run to a convenience store to buy our own.

Catastrophic but we got our money back

1. No attention paid to landscaping in the yard. 2. There is only one entrance exit to the unit. While I am unfamiliar with Columbus’ building and fire codes, i can’t imagine that that is permissible. Regardless, it’s unsafe. The porch. Access to the exterior porch adjacent to the sunroom was blocked even though the property details in the VRBO advert suggested that it was part of Cozy Cottage. 3. VRBO advertised a 2 BR oasis with parking, There was no parking and we were left to fend for ourselves on the street. 4. The tan carpet in the television room was filthy with what looked like visible pet stains on it. 5. The stove was filthy and had visible grease on the stovetop and in the broiler. 6. The refrigerator exterior looked as if someone had tried to clean it with a dirty rag and, sure enough, there was a dirt-caked rag with a puddle of water in a drawer beneath the sink. 7. The door to the rear bedroom locked when my wife closed the door and she could not unlock it from inside the bedroom. I had to use a screwdriver to unlock the door. It took a little time to do that. 8. The bed in the small front bedroom tilts toward the headboard. 9. Water cascaded into the kitchen from the third floor for an extended period. 10. We did get a full refund, so good on you.

Communication is key

Overall this was a nice place to stay. There were a couple hiccups with check in but the host communicated wonderfully and we were able to get them resolved. The beds definitely need an update. They were a little uncomfortable.

Bright and spacious, but some noise

Lovely unit on the 2nd floor of a 3-story building. Bright and spacious, fairly well-equipped. Apparently newly renovated, could use some finishing touches (no clothes hooks in bathroom or bedrooms, no clothes rods in closets). The most troublesome concern was significant noise from the upstairs unit. Footsteps were loud, music and voices were noticable. Carpets upstairs might help.
