The Larkspur Layover

The reservation was made for a party of 4, but there were actually over 12+ people present, including an innocent baby. Unfortunately, most of the towels were stolen, and there were reports of the property and driveways smelling strongly of weed, cigarettes, and cigars. The whole house was filled with an unpleasant stench. Not only that, but the neighbors and I were subjected to threats of harm, vandalism, and retaliation to our properties. On top of all that, there was unnecessary use of profane language, racial slurs, and uncivil gestures directed towards anyone nearby when asked to leave. The situation was made worse by the car horns honking loudly at midnight as all the cars drove away. This kind of disrespect for people's properties and the complete disregard for any rules should never be allowed to book on any platform. It's unfortunate that the many chargeback attempts failed, but VRBO did refund their own fees. I want to warn others to be cautious, as Skyler initially seemed kind but quickly turned into a very scary individual. If I could, I would give a negative 5-star review and pursue legal action.
