Recently renovated, Paloma Penthouse offers an unparalleled vacation experience. Enjoy spectacular Atlantic Ocean sunrises from the back deck and magnificent Intracoastal Waterway sunsets from the front seating area each day as the stresses of life fade into distance memories, to be replaced by leisure, comfort, and relaxation.


Combine several vacations into one with the Paloma Penthouse proximity to major, nearby attractions. In just an hour away, Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, Seaworld Orlando and Legoland Florida Resort can be added to your itinerary. Less than an hour away are historic St. Augustine and Cape Canaveral. Great shopping, fishing, restaurants and more.

Closest airports are Daytona International Airport, Jacksonville and Orlando International Airport. From Daytona, the condo is approximately 20 minute drive, From Jacksonville, slightly over an hour drive, and from Orlando, approximately 1.5 hour drive.

No detail has been overlooked at the Paloma Penthouse. Enjoy spectacular Atlantic Ocean sunrises from the back deck and magnificent intracoastal waterway sunsets from the front seating area each day as the stresses of life fade into distant memories. The Paloma Penthouse sleeps 6 comfortably. Its spacious owner's suite features a king bed with premium mattress and linens, a wall of windows to highlight the stunning views of sand and surf as well as luxurious en suite bath and spa shower. The second bedroom offers two full beds, a computer workstation and convenient bath access. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, just in case. No detail has been overlooked in the Paloma Penthouse commitment to vacation excellence. From UHD Smart televisions to charging stations to high-speed internet, your technology needs and expectations will be met. With a fully stocked kitchen, including an abundance of dishware, silverware, barware, cookware and other kitchenware, such as coffee maker, air fryer rice cooker and blender, your culinary needs are covered. Beach chairs (Tommy Bahama) beach wagon, umbrella, inflatable floats and surf toys are provided for your enjoyment and convenience. The Paloma Penthouse is situated on the top floor of the VanLee, the tallest building in Ormon-by-the-Sea. VanLee amenities are unsurpassed and far exceed those in competing properties. A large salt water pool (unheated) with spacious sun deck, outdoor shower and private, secured beach access creates a resort-like atmosphere. An exercise room featuring cardio and strength equipment along with a sauna and private shower will accommodate virtually any fitness program or routine. Finally, a library offers a quiet space for reading and literary pursuits.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to periodic weather events, we strongly encourage and recommend all guests purchase travel insurance to protect against financial loss and vacation disruption. As a small business, we are firm with our cancellation policy even during these inclement weather seasons (June 1st through November 30th) but work closely with our guests to communicate and accommodate accordingly. Luckily, we have had no disruption in stays with the past few years of hurricane events, but we cannot predict the future.

Wow! Ocean view in comfort.

A very well-stocked and comfortable rental, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. One of our guests kept saying, “it feels like I’m in the ocean!” The hosts were very thoughtful and accommodating throughout our stay. Definitely would come back again.

Beach get away!

This is a lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo right on the beach. Amazing view from the penthouse. Clean and nicely decorated. If you like the beach (even if you don’t)I would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely LOVED the Paloma House. Everything was top notch. The cleanliness and comfort of this condo was amazing. The views and the location were top-notch. We already booked for next year because we love this place so so much. The owners were phenomenal about communication and answered any and all questions we had. Highly highly recommend this place

Absolutely Incredible!

Staying at the Paloma Penthouse truly made our trip to Ormond Beach feel like the dream vacation! Everything from the stunning ocean view to the wagon available to take our stuff to the beach to the 6 person table for my family to gather around every evening to even the oversized bath towels, this place was perfect. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the way we truly felt like we were at home here. We would highly recommend staying at the Paloma Penthouse for your next trip to FL!

The perfect place for a family getaway!

My husband and I just spent 6 days/5 nights at Paloma Penthouse with our almost 4 year old daughter. We couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. Communication with Lenise was seamless and extremely helpful. The condo had everything we could have possibly needed, and more. The view from the balcony was just incredible, and we even got to watch dolphins swimming along the beach multiple times during the week. The laundry room and beach supplies provided were so convenient and helpful as well. Everything about our stay went so smoothly (which isn't always the case on a vacation including a 3 year old!) and we'd love to stay here again someday in the future!

Overwhelmingly beautiful condo

While I was initially shocked at the prices of condo rentals in Ormond Beach, I now understand you get what you pay for. The Paloma Penthouse is a GREAT value for the money (this comes from a really cheap person). Every detail surpassed our expectations. Towels, bedding, kitchen accessories, cleanliness, follow up by our landlord to insure everything was in order.....alll amazing. Only wish we could have stayed longer (like the rest of our lives). The Paloma Penthouse is amazing!!!! We also met some great people living there. All raved about the safety and convenience of the location. We're looking forward to visiting the Daytona Beach/Ormond area again in the future and we'll definetly book this property if it's available.

Relaxing Ocean View

Let’s start prior to arrival… Ally from PMI Palm Valley was nothing short of amazing. That didn’t stop at check in either. Easy to reach and she even checked in to make sure everything was going good. Quick to fix and issues and her service is top notch! Paloma Penthouse -stunning views of the ocean, plus being at the top floor made morning coffee on the balcony beautiful, relaxing and fun for the kids as the Pelican’s flight path took them inches from the rail! It was fun to watch them fly back and forth right in front of us. -beds were comfortable, the furniture was great. Kids loved the swivel pod chair and would cuddle up together in it and watch tv then swing around and watch the ocean. -Binoculars in the room were a great touch for watching the water! -the wagon was great to have for taking the beach chairs/toys etc down to the beach with ease. -the little welcome drinks were a cute and tasty touch for the adults! -beach towels were big and soft, no tiny towels here, you can actually wrap yourself up in them! -guest book was nice to have and listed some great places to eat and things to go! The Ormond Scenic Loop is a must do, a lot of things you can stop and check out too! Last but not least, did I mention how great Ally is?! We would/ and WILL definitely stay again!

This is the Location to Rest & Be Refeshed!

After searching through many VRBO listings in Ormond and the surrounding areas, the Paloma Penthouse continued to be highlighted to us. We even looked at other listings in the same building- so glad that we chose this one. The communication from the owners even before our stay was top notch. The time they have spent and the attention to detail to assure each guest has an exceptional visit is truly important to them. This condo was very comfortable... especially the beds, sectional sofa, and even the hi-top table/chairs on the balcony. This trip was to celebrate a milestone birthday and get away to rest and be refreshed on the ocean while de-stressing from everyday life. The ocean breeze on the top floor was amazing! We even spent one whole day out there taking in the salt air, admiring the different views of the changing tide, surf, winds, and colors on the water's surface. We saw the dolphins feeding multiple times. A huge highlight for us was watching the pelicans fly by at eye level. Such beautiful pics & memories! This condo was decorated with such a peaceful & calming palette of colors. The furniture was very plush and high quality. It made all the difference in us unwinding. The showers in both beautiful bathrooms were above & beyond with high end fixtures. It was so convenient to go out on the beach for the sunrise & sunset. We woke up early all 3 mornings to see the sunrise. Two of those mornings we viewed from the balcony. Thank you, Dave & Lenise!

Paloma has many meanings, all of which are woven into the fabric of our family and the character of this wonderful home away from home. In Spanish, paloma means dove and is a symbol of peace. In Cocktail, Paloma means refreshing tequila and citrus beverage and is a symbol of vacation. And in Ormond-by-the-Sea, paloma means spectacular vacation property with unparalleled amenities, magnificent sunrise and sunset views, close proximity to local and regional attractions and is a symbol of limitless style, comfort, luxury and tranquility. As a family, we have been visiting the Daytona Beach region for many years. It was during our first visit that we made a promise to ourselves: someday, we would own an oceanfront home in the area. We began to scan the real estate listings from Ponce Inlet to Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach to Ormond Beach and all places in between. Quickly, Ormond-by-the-Sea became our favorite neighborhood and the single focus of our mission. While we waited (im)patiently for the perfect property, our list of non-negotiables further narrowed our search to the Van Lee building. Its direct oceanfront location, private access to the no-drive beach, quality construction, salt water pool, exercise room, library and open floorplan design met every one of our requirements. Paloma Penthouse hit the market on a Friday morning at 9:00. By 9:15 that same morning, we had submitted a sight (and site) unseen offer. Ten days later, escrow closed and it was officially ours. Fast forward to today and our only regret is that we are not able to spend as much time there with our own family as we would like. During your stay, please relax and make yourself at home! Enjoy the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean, the sunset over the Intracoastal Waterway, the gentle ocean breezes and the therapeutic sound of the waves.
