Cute and Cozy Condo (High Cotton)
We came to town for a week for the USSSA Nationals Softball Tournament. This was a great little place to stay! It's about a 30 minute drive from Foley where the majority of the games were played. Right across the street from the beach- but you do have to walk about a 1/2 mile (10 minutes) to the public beach access at 6th street. (The Seabreeze condos next door have their own private beach access right across from them). The condo was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and decorated nicely. Side note, it's the 1st floor, but you do have to go up a flight of stairs to get to that level, parking is at ground level just below. They had a wagon with a bunch of beach toys, 3 beach chairs, and a boogie board to use at the beach. Bring your own beach towels. I also suggest bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags! There's a little market (Pier 31) in very close walking proximity to grab any last minute things you may need, but it's a bit pricey. The kitchen cooking utensils reminded me of camping, they weren't great quality which made it difficult to cook 😅 There's a Walmart or Publix that's just about a 10-15 min drive that I would suggest for larger grocery needs! Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we ever head back to Gulf Shores!!! While you're there, make sure you check out The Hangout, The Gulf, and Bahama Bobs for dining options!
