We had a great time. The cottage is one small block off of Franklin St., and you can walk to coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc. Communication with the manger was excellent. Would come back.

Cute house!

It was clean and roomy. I thought the decor was charming and the host left pantry essentials which was thoughtful. The location was close to the park and beach with a car- I was under the impression from the listing that it would be an easy walk to a beach. It was a not as easy to access as I had hoped, but otherwise a decent location.

Very clean!

Very nice stay with little perks like a ice bag in the freezer, a cute welcome sign, bubbles for the kids to play with etc. The wifi wasn’t working when we arrived but Hazal let us know and even got us $25 in Bubbles ice cream for the trouble. The best beach was Central Ave- plus it’s free- and about 6 min drive. The only down side is the neighborhood was a bit sketchy……

We were glad to have Melissa and family stay with us. Glad they had good time at beaches and local restaurants. They stayed during 4th of July week which brings in all sorts of people from many areas around indiana and beyond. Our property is 1/2 block to Franklin street fine dining, cool bars, restaurants, arts district, shopping + minutes from just about everything else, botanical gardens, casino, wineries, breweries. Generally on all platforms, the guests love this house location, which has many airbnb apartments or houses next door, resident buildings, local businesses, + schools and churches all around us. Check it out on google maps or street view to see location. Michigan City is a city in transition with the new billion dollar south shore train double track and new train station. construction happening until 2024. But as always, we do welcome those who want to be at upper scale beach front areas to check out the beach walk or homes next 1 block to the water. Keep in mind our prices are 170-300 per day depending on day and season and Beachwalk is roughly 600 - 2400 per day so we are priced appropriately for being next to all the good urban restaurants and shopping and short 4 min drive to the beach, washington park or national park central beach is about 8 min away .
