Such a gorgeous spot on the river! Easy access, well appointed, cozy, and fantastic hosts. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect place with a killer view!

We loved the happy place! Waking up to the sight of the beautiful river was enough to fall in love with this home. Gracious and responsive hosts, clean house, well appointed kitchen, friendly neighbors were added perks.

Peaceful comfort

We loved our stay at the Maine happy place. Gorgeous views and a charming house with all the comforts! We needed a place where it would be easy to get to Freeport, Bowdoin, Bates and Colby College and this house exceeded expectations. Great communication with hosts and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Exactly what we needed

Lovely house tucked up against the Androscoggin was perfect for our family of 4 adults. Generously stocked and comfortable for everyone. The stairs would be tough for someone with mobility limitations, but it wasn’t an issue. Relaxing and cozy and close to so many things.

Tranquil Idyllic Space

What a gem! Tucked away on the banks of a flowing river, this property met all of our needs and then some! My favorite part of our stay was the beautiful area to relax down by the water. Plenty of space and very comfortable beds, we slept well and woke up to a beautiful view and wrap around deck. If you are looking for a spacious home that is special and creates a relaxing and peaceful vibe, dont pass this up!

Waterfront Oasis that is private yet in the heart of unique local shopping and restaurants.

When I think about escaping to the Maine woods, I don’t usually associate this with such modern amenities, super clean, upscale decor, a well appointed kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning/heat pump, multiple indoor/outdoor seating options to view the waterfront, wild flowers, and hear the birds sing. Yet here it is! In addition, this home is within 5 minutes to all the standard shopping and restaurants, and 5 minutes to a picturesque New England downtown with ample parking, unique shops, local art galleries and so many options for delicious food!As part of my stay, I took a drive to the famed Maine Beach, Popham Beach State Park, took a walk along the Androscoggin River on a beautiful bike/walking path. I found the locals genuinely friendly and helpful without being intrusive.I wish I had planned a longer stay, but will be sure to stay here again soon!
