Welcome to Sandy Shores Beach House! Relax on the stunning shores of Frederiksted, St. Croix. This beachfront home boasts breathtaking sunsets, which can be enjoyed from the expansive deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Step outside and feel the sand between your toes as you take a dip in the crystal-clear waters just a few steps away.

Travelers with children: This home accommodates children ages 8 and older. The top floor features two bedrooms and one bathroom, while the lower level includes a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom space with a private entrance.

This home is located directly on one of the best beaches on the island of St. Croix. Step out the door and walk straight onto the sand. The home is on the west end of the island in Frederiksted, with restaurants and entertainment nearby.

Important Note:
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom on the top level of the home.
Guests must go outside to access the lower level, which has one bedroom and one bathroom with a separate entrance. There are 10 exterior steps on the staircase leading to the upper level of the home.
This lower level is perfect for a second couple, in-laws, or grandparents.
The downstairs living room has a queen-size pull-out sofa bed, perfect for additional guests. The space includes a ceiling fan and flat-screen TV. This area offers an additional sleeping option.
All bedrooms have air conditioning.
This home has exterior security cameras near entry doors.

At Sandy Shores Beach House, we provide the following beach items:
- Snorkel gear (masks, fins, breathing tubes)
- Beach towels
- Beach chairs
- Cooler

A rental car is recommended. Lyft and Uber services are not available on St. Croix. A new and similar service called VI Hail is currently on the island. Taxi services are not easily accessible without a reservation.

This home sits on gorgeous beachfront. We spent hours everyday just looking out over the ocean. The sunsets are spectacular. It had everything we needed. Our adult son was with us so the separate up and down units worked great for everyone’s privacy. The beds are very comfortable and the ac works great. It is just steps from Rainbow beach whose restaurant has really good food and service. We definitely had the most relaxing beach vacation ever. I can’t truly express how much we enjoyed this property. If we ever vacation in St. Croix again we will definitely rent this home again. The owner was very detailed with their communications which made checking in and out easy.

Best Beach Vacation EVER!

This place is absolutely amazing, especially the location. Waking up to that beautiful beach every day was magical. We loved snorkeling every day. Between the beach at the house, Rainbow Beach, and the pier; we saw sea turtles, all kinds of tropical fish, octopus, eels, crabs, iguanas, southern stingrays, and a spotted eagle ray. It was wonderful.We ate incredible food (Tail End, Alba's, Chicken Shack, Polly's, Lost Dog Pub, & Rhythms).We snorkeled the reef at Buck Island (Caribbean Sea Adventures) and saw even more and bigger colorful fish, more rays, and barracudas. The bioluminescent bay kayak tour with Bush Tribe was incredible.We toured the nearby (walking distance) Prosperity Farms Distillery where we tasted fresh sugar cane and their wide variety of products. Very impressive grounds and facility, and extremely kind folks.The house had everything we needed, and the ACs kept it nice and cool. Sharifa was a great host.Just an amazing island with lovely people. We absolutely cannot wait to go back!

We had a great stay! The house was right on the beach, close to downtown and walking distance from Rainbow Beach and the beach bar. We loved the convenience of walking over to eat meals. We did a nightly beach walk and found lots of sea glass. Kids loved it!

Amazing house

We LOVED the location, living on the beach for a week was amazing! Also loved the security of the fence and beach gate. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that wants to experience St Croix. On the property we were able to see a variety of crabs, lizards, iguanas, and birds!! We even spotted a sea turtle swimming in front of the house several days in a row!

2nd trip for the in-laws

This is what you picture a house on the beach would be. Left reef approved sun block and insect body spray. Great sea glass hunting directly in front of the house. Perfect area for a beach chair in the surf. Made good use of the outdoor shower. Easy communications with our hostess and we are eager to return to this spot.

Magnificent beach and well managed property

We had a wonderful week at Sandy Shores! Pros:-AMAZING view-Beautiful Sandy Beach and great seaglass hunting-Can snorkel right off the beach- we saw turtles, rays, - and lots of fish-Snorkel gear, mesh beach bags and beach chairs onsite were a great perk. - All linens and towels were brand new and fluffy- Great communication from the host. And the home had almost everything that you could need!-Nice to be able to walk to Rhythms for drinks and food. -Short easy drive to Fred for restaurants and food (check for times when open)Minor Cons:- Since the bedrooms are on the street side, you will hear street noise, especially on Sunday Funday which was pretty loud during the day (lots of motorcycles and very loud music) but did quiet down by dinner time. - No A/C in the main area on the second floor, which is common in the islands, but not enough windows to create cross breeze so it got VERY hot. Only one fan to help with this, a few more would be helpful. Overall, an awesome location and a well managed property.

This property met our every expectation. The house was comfortable and clean. The property manager answered our only question within minutes and even communicated when they would be unavailable and gave us an alternative contact just in case. We will definitely return!

Ocean front warm water

Beautiful warm water , great view . wonderful sound of the crashing waves. A nice stretch of beach to take a morning walk . With a little shade in the morning to keep porch a bit cooler till it is time to swim or explore . Lots of fun activities close by .

A memorable family vacation

There were HOURS every day when we were the only ones on the beach; and with it being so close and easy to access, we went into the water 3+ times a day for an hour or more at a time. I've never spent that much time in the water before. We had so much fun goofing around with our teen and tween. For the hottest part of the day, we were able to relax comfortably. The bedroom A/C units were gloriously cold, the WIFI was fast, and the tv entertainment interface was easy to use. The house is set up more like a home than a rental- it is well equipped down to the smallest details: *In the house there were LOTS of hooks for towels which really comes in handy, tons of beach towels and bath towels, a broom and cordless vac for keeping up with the inevitable sand, dish soap and sponge, the shower had shampoo, body wash and conditioner... so many little things that made things go so smoothly. *The backyard had a charcoal grill with everything you need to build a fire, a shelving unit of random beach and snorkeling gear, a shower for rinsing off the sand. Everyone loved their stay here and we highly recommend.

Great location and great house layout.

The location of the house is great. Very close to everything plus right on a beautiful beach. House was clean and well stocked with linen and supplies. Security was also excellent with a fence and security light. If we are back in St Croix this will be our first location to get if it is available.

Wonderful location.

This is a beautiful location. We loved the house and location by a restaurant. All the dive shops and restaurants were 5 mins from the home. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it. Just be aware if you stay on a Sunday this is the area the locals have Sunday Funday so its a little loud but i all clears out by 7:30 pm.

On the beach!

The beachouse is perfect if you want a quiet, secluded spot on the beach. It has everything you need and was spotless. Also walking distance to a restaurant and walking distance to horse riding. The back of the house touches the road so you will hear road noise and barking dogs. Overall it is a great choice for a family or multiple families.

Incredible view

We loved our stay in this beach house. If you’re after a breathtaking view, this is it. Waking in the morning to the waves, eating our breakfast every morning on the deck overlooking the beach, and watching the gorgeous sunset there every night was like heaven. We’re still having withdrawals from leaving.
