Our cabins are located in heart of the Manistee National Forest, offering abundant hiking, biking and snowmobile trails, plus world class trout, steelhead and salmon fishing. Caberfae and Crystal Mountain are just a short drive away as well. Explore our private pond, fully stocked fly and tackle shop, game room and firepits! Come enjoy some peace and quiet in beautiful northern Michigan.

Great fishing lodge

Everything was just great, very close to great fishing spots and diners, only thing that would of made it better would be a cook top stove

Cozy & quaint!!

Clean, cozy, well kept and stocked with everything we needed! Beautiful place, very impressed! We traveled almost 4 hours and Id definitely go back there!

Great Fish Camp

Caretakers were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My dad and i had a very comfortable stay. Love the decore and the house was fully stocked with amenities.

Nice cottage to stay in for the weekend for the price

Everything was great except that there was no stove to cook on. There was a communal grill to use, but if all three cabins were full I could see a issue with everyone wanting to cook on it.

Very basic

Basic fishing cabin. Clean and comfortable. Remember only microwave available in units. Working kitchen is a short walk but not in early spring in Michigan. Light breakfast items listed never happened for the 3 days we used. Never saw or spoke to a site manager prior to or during the trip. Yes clean but very basic.

Did not stay, reservation issues

We did not end up staying at this location. When we arrived there were no staff on site that were able to register us and get us check in information. We were told by other patrons that the staff member had left ill and was unreachable due to cell phone issues. After several attempts via VRBO, email, and phone, we finally received a refund. So not staying here only cost us $35 in booking fees, not an amazing experience.

A bonus

The cleaning lady called in so we got upgraded from a cabin to the house that is on the property and omg it was amazing. A nice big house and yard for entertaining and the location is superb. The new guy at the bait shop was so helpful with local knowledge of fish and the type of bait needed. Just a great time.

Relaxing

We decided to rent a place last minute. Since it was going to be very cold at night and didnt want to stay in tents. Great place we will be coming back for sure.

Works for short stsys

Nice little cabin condo as part of a quad. Everything on the listing is accurate. I didn't realize that there is no stove or oven, so cooking is limited to microwave or grill which can be problematic in the winter. Would stay again

Fishing and sightseeing

Cabin was very clean. Mattress was perfect, I slept great. Location was central to all Manistee National Forest has to offer.

Misleading

Listing says 2 bedroom cabin, but when we arrived it was 2 bed cabin. It is an open space. Messaged the host about our cabin not having 2 bedrooms and never received a response. Also, was kind of confusing on where to go when we arrived due to the cabin signs being hidden. The cabin was nice and clean though.

Manistee Cabin

This cabin was excellent! Large enough for four adults. Very clean and fresh. Two bedrooms with comfortable beds. Love the knotty pine cabin look!
