Melipilla is close to Pomaire, Rapel Lake, San Antonio, San Manuel and the Culipran valley, being a neighbor of the Cantillana cordon, with large tracts of sclerophyll forest where many endemic species live, being one of the 5 ecosystems with similar characteristics in the world.
