Dubbed the Orchard house since being on Orchard street. This newly renovated stand alone home on a quiet dead end road is just what the doctor ordered.

Located just 2 miles to the start of the historic Katy Trail makes this a great spot. Also, we are only minutes away from Truman Lake which boasts some of the best crappie and spoonbill fishing around. A dedicated shed with lock is provided at the back of the home for bike storage.

A short walk to the historic square with shopping + eateries!

This now the 3rd or 4th time we’ve stayed at the Orchard House over the past couple of years while visiting family for the holidays and our stay has been excellent each time. The home is very clean and comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. There was even a lovely Christmas tree to keep us in the spirit. The home is also located very close to the quaint town square where there ar several good restaurants. Andrew (owner) is always quick to communicate and the check in is very smooth and easy. We will definitely plan to stay there again and recommend it for anyone visiting the Clinton area.

Enjoyed our stay! Neat little property. Met all our needs. Kitchen had all the supplies. Communication great. Appreciate the locked shed for our bikes. Will stay again.

Overall the experience was great, there was a pretty loud big dog that would bark next door when we would come and go especially at night that wasn’t ideal, but not the owners fault. The dog did eventually quiet down. The area was on a decently quiet cul de sac so not like there is a bunch of through traffic there which makes it quieter. The drive from the house to most of the entire city is about 5-10 minutes tops so literally everything in town is at your finger tips. To get to other places in town was easy to navigate. The home was filled with all kinds of helpful and useful things like a bottle opener or the towels etc. Having 3 separate mini split units to be able to control the temperature in each bedroom and the main living area separately was really nice as well. Bed was pretty hard so keep that in mind when staying that if you can and need a softer bed pack a bed topper. But overall it was an excellent stay. Would rent there again.

Great place

House itself is amazing. Stayed here prior to Katy Trail ride- only 1.5 miles from the trailhead. Neighborhood is sketchy looking but no issues other than appearance.

Clean, Quaint, and Quiet

This as our second stay at the Orchard House. The home is very clean and well appointed. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has everything you need in case you forget anything. The neighborhood is quiet and communication with the owner was excellent and prompt. We’ll plan to stay there again on our next trip to Clinton.

Fishing trip to Truman Reservoir

The home was remodeled very well. It was quite comfortable and clean. The air condition worked well - and it was hot while we were there. The neighborhood, and the house, are obviously not new but it was quiet, and we had good interactions with the neighbors. Overall - well worth what we spent for the trip.

Beautiful little house for the homidays

Enjoyed the stay, nice clean property on a dead end street so no traffic noise. Great amenities, couldn’t ask for more. Very convient to downtown.
