This two-home estate sits on a gorgeous 6 acre property looking out on Goat Mountain and the open desert. Equipped with five bedrooms (4 king beds and 1 queen), 3 bathrooms, 2 hot tubs and a grill, bring your whole family or friend group on the perfect Joshua Tree getaway. Featuring large spaces, two full kitchens, incredible light, soaring ceilings, and unique furnishings, this is the perfect place to explore the high desert - just minutes from The Integratron, Orchid Farm, La Copine, Giant Rock, Pioneertown & other attractions.
The first home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, an enormous back patio with outdoor dining table, 6 person hot tub, luxurious bathtub, a front porch, and furnishings from the estate of the late French rock star Johnny Hallyday. The Chef's kitchen boasts a commercial Kucht gas range, German Henckel knives, hand crafted clay wares, large capacity refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the pots, pans, oven trays and utensils you'll need to make an amazing celebratory dinner for your friends or family.
The master bathroom has a giant 2 person indoor soaking tub, and all 3 bedrooms (2 Kings and 1 Queen) have comfortable memory foam mattresses with hypoallergenic bamboo fiber pillows. There is a 55" flatscreen tv in the master bedroom. Enjoy your favorite tunes on a vintage Harmon Kardon stereo with aux or iPhone connections.
The second home is a historic mining homestead built in the 1930's, and was later occupied by the infamous George Van Tassel while he constructed the Integration. Enjoy the hot tub overlooking the desert landscape or cozy up to the vintage Malm fireplace in the evening! This home features 2 bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed, 1 bathroom, and a fully equipped back patio with a hot tub, grill, and sun-lounging chairs. The walls display original artwork from local artist Keely King.
Both houses features original artwork from the late Canadian artist Gerald Zeldin and local artist Keely King.
We offer a private chef and home masseuse subject to availability at an additional cost. Details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Half Italian, half American film director, photographer, passionate musician and co-founder of The Bombay Beach Biennale. I love the intersection of art, community, architecture, design, and hospitality which is fostered by hosting on Airbnb.
My grandfather had a commune in Italy where he removed the locks from all the doors, psychedelic exploration was encouraged, free love was practiced, and all were welcome.
Today, I feel that we can pursue the same ideals, but having learned from the mistakes and excesses of the 1960s. Airbnb allows us to to have this always evolving, self sustaining communal experience, without the chaos and dysfunction that sometimes came with it (In other words, we get people’s luggage, but hopefully not their baggage!)
The films I am most proud of are Being in the World, “a celebration of being human in a technological age” (through the writings of Martin Heidegger,) and Monogamish, a quest to understand love in the 21st century, starring Dan Savage, Esther Perel and Christopher Ryan.
These days I spend most of my time playing piano and fiddling with synths and guitars in my beloved recording studio on the Yucca Valley compound or down in Bombay Beach while we plan the next Biennale.
