Set along Sister Bay’s scenic waterfront, the village offers an easy mix of waterfront recreation, local favorites, shopping, and plenty to explore throughout the year.
Spend the day at the beach, stroll along the waterfront, rent a kayak or paddleboard, browse locally owned shops, or explore the village’s mix of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and longtime local favorites that have become part of the Sister Bay experience. From casual family favorites to classic Door County gathering spots, there is always something nearby to enjoy.
The Sister Bay Haus is tucked into a peaceful neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Sister Bay, putting the waterfront, beach, dining, shopping, and village favorites all close at hand. The Northern Haus wedding venue is just 0.5 mile away, making the location especially convenient for wedding weekends. With so much nearby, The Sister Bay Haus is an ideal home base for experiencing Sister Bay and Door County in every season.

Guests will have full and private access to The Sister Bay Haus during their stay, including all four bedrooms, living spaces, fully equipped kitchen, private year-round barrel sauna, two-car garage, porches, yard, fire pit, and all listed guest amenities. A small locked storage area is reserved for housekeeping and owner supplies.
Convenient contactless check-in is provided through secure keypad access. Each reservation receives a unique access code created specifically for the guest’s stay, making arrival simple and secure.
Parking for up to four vehicles is provided, with space for two vehicles inside the garage and two additional vehicles in the driveway. Village ordinance limits the property to four vehicles total, and street parking is not permitted.

Welcome to The Sister Bay Haus, part of the Houses of Door collection. Designed for comfortable stays with family and friends, this spacious 4-bedroom retreat accommodates up to 12 guests with plenty of room to relax, gather, and spread out.
The main living area is open and inviting, with comfortable seating, a fireplace, and an easy flow into the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen features a large island, generous counter space, and everything needed for everything from morning coffee to family dinners. A large dining table provides plenty of room to enjoy meals together.
Sleeping arrangements include two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, and a bunk room, offering flexibility for families and groups.
The spacious lower level provides an additional place to unwind, with a 75-inch 4K television, vintage arcade game, video games, board games, and comfortable space to relax.
Outside, guests can enjoy two large porches, front and back yards, a fire table, gas grill, and fire pit. The private year-round 6–8 person barrel sauna is an especially relaxing way to end a day exploring Door County, whether you’re visiting in the warmth of summer or during a snowy winter getaway.
High-speed WiFi, smart TVs, in-unit laundry, and thoughtful amenities throughout the house make longer stays comfortable and easy. The Sister Bay Haus combines the space and amenities of a private retreat with a location close to everything that makes Sister Bay special.

The Sister Bay Haus is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Sister Bay, including the waterfront, beach, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and local favorites. A car is helpful for exploring the rest of Door County, with many of the Peninsula’s villages, parks, beaches, and attractions within an easy drive.
Parking is provided for up to four vehicles, including two spaces in the attached garage and two additional spaces in the driveway. Four adult bicycles are also available for guests who would like to explore Sister Bay and the surrounding area at a more leisurely pace. For guests arriving by air, Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay is approximately 1¾ hours away, while local general aviation options include Door County Cherryland Airport and nearby Ephraim-Gibraltar Airport.

Here are some of our basic rules, but prior to your stay we ask you to review the entire document which will be sent prior to check in and reach out with any questions!
• Guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• Please treat The Sister Bay Haus with the same respect as you would your own home. We’ve
put a lot of effort making this a beautiful space and property for you to enjoy.

• We have a total 4 off-street parking spaces: 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. Parking is
not permitted on the street. Parking is not permitted on any non-driveway surfaces (e.g., grassy
areas). Please refer to the property diagram for a visual guide showing property lines and
designated parking areas. Campers, RVs, and trailers are not allowed on the property. Boats may
not be parked on-site for more than 24 hours.

• We know you’ll have lots of laughter and fun during your vacation. However, please respect
our neighbors. Noise must be kept to a minimum during the Village of Sister Bay’s quiet hours,
which are 10pm to 10am and must be observed.

•Parties are not allowed.

• Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

• Pets and animals are not allowed. If a service animal is required on property the animal must
be kept in compliance with Chapter 10 of the Village of Sister Bay Municipal Code. Service pets
must be on leash when outdoor, supervised at all times, and waste must be cleaned up
promptly. Any barking must also be kept to a minimum so as not to disrupt our neighbors.

• Please use the kitchen bins for trash and recycling. When full, place items in the proper
outdoor bins located next to the house with lids closed. Trash and recycling bins must remain at
the side of the house and should not be placed at the curb at any time. Collection is handled
weekly by GFL from this location.

• Fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

•Outdoor Burn Regulation: Only small, controlled campfires are permitted in our designated fire
pits. Guests must never leave a fire unattended and must fully extinguish the fire before leaving
the immediate area. There are water spigots and hoses can be found in the back and south
sides of the house as well as buckets in the garage that can be used to extinguish the fire.
Compliance with local regulations is required. Prior to starting a campfire, please call 866-966-
3293 or check current Wisconsin DNR burn restrictions to confirm there is not a local burn ban.
