Crafted in 2023 by skilled Vermont artisans, the cottage embodies the harmony of nature and modern Green design. With its timber frame and expansive glass windows, it's large deck you are surrounded by forests, fields and waterfalls. This place brings the outside, inside. This tranquil haven is perfect for those seeking to recharge in nature, enjoying peaceful escape from the day’s activities. providing a serene environment to relax and rejuvenate, and/or a perfect vacation for remote workers via our fast WiFi.

The cottage was designed and built to reflect the great peace and beauty of the land on which is sits. Situated between two pristine brooks amidst rolling forested hills…. You can hear the waterfalls even when the windows are closed and on warm days you can swim in the pristine clear pools.

Our Magical Retreat Cottage is perfect for couples or families seeking to recharge amidst nature. As evening falls, take a stroll under a canopy of stars and then cozy up to the beautiful gas fireplace with a good book. You can also enjoy your favorite movies on the Amazon Fire Smart TV with access to all your preferred streaming services.

First ignore my rating on skining. I was not there to ski and it was not ski season. VRBO forced a rating of the skiing experience to procede with the review. This is a great property as noted in all the other reviews. A beautiful relaxing location. The cottage was well stocked including a complimentary box of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup. Communication from the owner was excellent. On a rainy day he texted indoor activites in the area. This is the place we will stay if in the area again.

Perfect secluded stay near Mt. Snow

We enjoyed our stay. Being only 15 minutes from places to eat, we had total privacy and quiet. The surrounding forest and nearby river are great and make you feel like you have escaped somewhere. Plenty of room for a family of four with a loft and a private room. Living space was nicely setup. If you want to prep your own meals during a stay, this place has all that you would need. Coffee maker, grinder, and some coffee were there. A dishwasher was excellent. A washer and drier on site make it nice in case you need to get some clean clothes back in circulation. Towels were on site already. The propane fireplace was a nice touch and produced great heat when needed. Communication with the host was great. We didn't need anything during our stay, but it was clear there was support if we needed it. We went skiing for five days and the size of this cottage made it possible to keep our stuff organized, dry, and ready for the next day.

Wonderful retreat in nature

Gene’s house a gem! A veritable retreat nestled in the trees with a crystal water creek running by. We loved the cathedral ceilings and the views over the forest all around the house. The deck with BBQ is perfect for enjoying nature. The place is brand new, fully equipped and nicely decorated. The perfect spot in beautiful Vermont. Our only regret is not to have been here during the fall season. We can only imagine how magical the place will be when the leaves turn and show their colors! We will come again! Thanks Gene for allowing this peaceful experience in nature!

A Much Needed Reprieve

Wow. What an escape. If you’re looking for a break away from the grind, this is it. Gene, the owner, has done an amazing job of transforming a beautiful portion of his land into a warm and tranquil refuge. It is truly a special place. The cottage had everything we could have needed for our stay. Full kitchen, laundry, toiletries, cookware, and the grill on the deck was great! Wifi was fast and reliable. The place was extremely clean and stocked with modern appliances. Beds were nice and cozy. We slept like babies to the sound of the brook right outside. Honestly, we wish we could keep this place a secret. Anytime we return to Vermont, we’ll be staying here for sure. Don’t miss the deer who frequently poke around the property. And, do yourself a favor - bring home a bottle of Gene’s well water (straight from the tap). You’ll miss it once you’re gone…
