Loved the house and location

Awesome location. Loved the eagles and seals in the harbor. Very convenient to activities yet away from the crowds in Juneau. I would love to come back!

Family Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed this location, on the beach, watching boats coming and going while sitting on the deck. Fishing along the shore was great. House is well stocked with supplies. Really liked the simple check out policy. Communication with Adam was quick and he was helpful. Would stay here again!

This property was truly amazing for our stay in Juneau! We spent our mornings drinking coffee and watching the Eagles in Auke Bay right out on the deck! You can also see the seals swimming there and they are so cute! There is a small beach below we ventured down to and got a few shells one day. The home was so cozy and had everything we needed and things we didn’t have Ben expect like organic coffee beans and some other items. It is far enough from the touristy sites to have peace and just close enough to check them out if you choose to venture out. It was about 7 min from the airport and actually really close to a glacier we drove to ourselves and didn’t have to pay for a hefty priced tour to one! We did pay for a whale tour and much was just magical and would highly recommend that! The home is close to gas, a few restaurants and a gas station that has most things you would need on vacation and even has fresh donuts and sandwiches daily for breakfast and other meals as well as liquor so you don’t have to go far. Little one stop shop!

Thank you for staying with Juneau Vacation Homes. It’s wonderful to hear the deck views of eagles and seals and the small beach shelling were highlights, and that the cozy layout and organic coffee beans added to your mornings. We’re glad the location worked well — peaceful yet convenient to the airport, restaurants, and nearby glacier — and that your whale tour was magical. Thanks for the thoughtful review and for recommending the area to future guests.
