I would happily stay again

An old (by U.S. standards) building that's been meticulously restored, and updated/outfitted to accommodate contemporary visitors. Very clean, very comfortable. The shower has a ledge for toiletries. The bed linens were spotless. And the bar downstairs is excellent. Only two quibbles: there's no elevator; and, the TV is mounted flat against the wall, nowhere near within viewing distance from the bed (easy fix is a $50 swivel wall-mount from Amazon, Best Buy, et al.). We would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my one night stay. This is a historic hotel and my room maintains that feel while being fully updated. The room had everything I needed, was clean and the bed was comfortable. Couldn’t have a better location to explore Jacksonville.
