House was very clean and organized. Good enough space and very comfortable for a family of 5. The house felt very welcoming over all and it was at such a good distance from the beach and the shops and restaurants! Host made it very easy to check in and out, definitely recommend!!

Very cute property! Just 5 mins to the beach, shops, grocery store and restaurants. We rented a golf cart to zip around wherever we needed to go, which worked out perfectly. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed. Was nice having tvs in the bedrooms. There is a hose in the side yard to rinse off which was great. The boards on the ground by the hose could be reinforced a bit for those who are not sturdy on their feet. Was a great beach vacation! There are water roaches that make their way into the home, which is common in Texas but I'm sure they treat for it because most of the ones we found were dead. The garbage cans are infested though and should be treated. The toilet paper dispenser in the master bathroom needs repairing, it doesn't stay upright. The dish towel had a little spaghetti sauce splatter on it but all other towels were very clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with enough supplies for the few days we were there even though we were told to bring extra supplies. Communication was great but prefer to have all the information accessible via the app so I didn't have to search through my email for certain property info.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback and kind words about your stay. I’m sorry to hear about the concerns with the boards by the hose and will look into that. I also regret the issues with the water roaches and garbage cans and will review the current treatments. The note about the toilet paper dispenser and the dish towel is appreciated and will be checked. Thank you as well for mentioning the app communication preference; we will review how information is shared.

Family Beach Vacation

We had the most enjoyable stay here! It was everything we'd hoped for and this gem made for the perfect family getaway. Our home away from home was super close to the beach, shops, and good food. I appreciated the friendly service of the rental property, as the check in/out process went smoothly. We can't wait to go back!

Great area

The location is great. Checkin easy. Nice and clean but there were some huge cockroaches that we killed inside. My daughter is not a bug person. They also do not leave cleaning supplies and there was only one roll of tp per bathroom. The area is quite and out of the busy and has an easy quick route to the docks!

Nice

We enjoyed our stay however the dryer didn’t work for the first 3 weeks. Fixed now for whoever stays next. Very quiet neighborhood. Needs a can opener. Had to call for first lawn mowing but then they came each week. Well remodeled home.

Good place to stay.

The only glitch we had was the washing machine did not work. However, the property manager did our laundry for us. When techs came to check on the washing machine, it needed a part. We were there for 18 days and it worked just fine. We cooked most meals ourselves. Just a note that there is no crockpot, which we would have used to make food to be ready when we got home from the beach. One other item that would have been nice, is a hair dryer. The property manager (Silver Sands) was great to work with.

We wanted to thank you for this feedback, Melissa, as we're always trying to improve the guest experience. We also appreciate your patience while we replaced the hall bathroom door. Additionally, after reading your review, my team and I thoroughly inspected my home. Due to its recent construction, no mildew smell was detected. Additionally, all faucets are connected, and we can also confirm that the dryer is working at the optimal level.
