A perfect place to stay

We loved staying here. The home was clean and the perfectly equipped with everything you need. The pond was great and my girls enjoyed swimming! It was a great value. Sasha was a great communicator.

Cozy Cottage with Beach & Dock on Woodbury Pond

We love this place. my family had great time. the Host provided everything renters needed even cook-ware , spices , Detergent, Zip lock bags for left over food . the host is so thoughtful and provided everything. we went kayaking, Fishing at a different pond . my 24 year old son first time fishing and got one ! its quite. we really enjoyed this stay .

Wonderful cottage!

We just got back from our lovely stay in Maine! We chose this cottage specifically for the nearby lakes and the kayaks. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, it was cold and rainy pretty much the whole time, but we did get out on the lake once. The kayaks are easy to use. Our host suggested we use a kayak cart to walk the kayaks to the water, but it was only a few houses down and my husband and I front and back carried them if you find that easier. The two lakes connect under the roadway, so there's a huge area to explore. The house was nicely furnished and well appointed with coffee, snacks, sweetener, creamer, and a full pantry of herbs, spices, and staples. There were also necessities like shampoo, soap, and (glory be) a hair drier with a diffuser for my curly hair! I'd brought mine from home, but no need. There were several restaurants nearby in Gardiner and Monmouth, plus a supermarket only a few miles away. There's a lot to do nearby, in Augusta and Lewiston, but be aware that things are closed weekends and Monday. We drove to the coast more than expected because of the weather, which is further than we thought, but still not bad. I definitely recommend this cottage! You'll love it, especially if it's not rainy.

Cozy Cottage

Overall, a very nice property. Clean, well furnished. Owner was great with communications (timely and responsive) Only issue I would say needed to be addressed was the water pressure in the shower as it was very low. Otherwise, a great place to stay and I highly recommend it. I would say the summer would be even more fun as the lake is right there to enjoy.

It's a cute little community with friendly neighbors and water on all sides so you can lay out on the beach, have a picnic, go kayaking or fishing and just enjoy the beautiful scenery.
