This updated modern coastal style home has everything guests would need to enjoy a relaxing stay, home away from home!
Centrally located in North County San Diego, between Carlsbad, Vista and San Marcos offering quick car rides to nearby attractions for the Family such as our beautiful Carlsbad Beaches, Legoland, Sea World, Safari Park, The Zoo, Birch Aquarium, Family Fun Center, The Wave Water Park, Dave and Busters, SkyZone Tampoline Park, and many more fun options for the kids. Looking for a more Adult like trip? Weve got you covered. Our home is within walking distance to many microbrewies, and a short drive to Temecula Wine Country. Once you're finished exploring these lovely cities, come home to relax in a sparkling clean pool/spa ( pool can be heated at an additional 75 dollars a day, jacuzzi can be heated at no additional cost) or gather around our cozy bombfire pit and enjoy the many amenities this property has to offer.

Beautiful spacious home at a great location close to all the Carlsbad attractions. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub and the wide assortment of pool toys. Everything was thoughtfully provided including pool towels, throw blankets, firepit, heat lamp, BBQ, and a well-stocked kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for other families.

Graduation trip

Perfect gathering place for 8 family members traveling for my daughters graduation from CSUSM. The house is beautiful and accommodated all of us very comfortably. The backyard with pool, jacuzzi and fire pit gave us plenty of space to relax and catch up with one another. The location was centrally located to the campus, the beach, golf courses breweries and dining locations.

We stayed here with a total of 8 people. The property is actually better than even the pictures show. It has everything you will need. The communication with Blair before and during our stay was prompt. I highly recommend this property for families.

Great place

Just what we needed. We were visiting family nearby. The house was very comfortable. Our kids spent hours in the pool. Hot tub was wonderful. Lots of thoughtful touches like pool towels, beach chairs. Enjoyed the fire pit one night too. Owner was very responsive and supportive.

Girls trip

We truly enjoyed staying at Pool Side Oasis. We were celebrating my teen daughter's birthday. When we arrived a bouquet of flowers and a small birthday cake was waiting for her! It is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. My sister and I felt safe to walk every morning.

Great home and perfect location for us!

We all agreed that this was the best home that we’ve rented over the years. It was in a great location for everything we wanted to do in Carlsbad and we were able to see the fireworks very well from the primary bedroom balcony! The pool is pretty shallow so the water was nice and warm during our stay, which we enjoyed. Before arriving, Blair was quick to answer our questions - Once we arrived, we met Lori and she was great to work with! The home was well stocked with all the staples. We highly recommend this home (so much so that we have already booked it for next year!)

Wonderful vacation home

We stayed at the poolside oasis with our family of 5 and loved the home. It’s a nice quiet neighbourhood. The pool was great and doesn’t get much deeper than 5ft. Very nice bath and pool towels! We enjoyed using the patio fire after a long day of exploring San Diego and swimming in the pool. Everything you need is there for you. You’ll love it! Only con for us was it gets very bright in the home in the mornings (not all the windows had blinds and/or the blinds were quite light) so our young children who are used to black out curtains were waking at dawn.

Absolutely perfect family Villa

Villa was perfect, spacious, clean, great location and the pool area was first class. The owners were very responsive to our comms and very helpful to our requests. Ideal location to base yourself for the San Diego area. Carlsbad and Oceanside are all close by, 15 mins drive. Everything that you would need for your vacation is provided by the owners. Fire pit outside by the pool. Hot tub, easy to operate and switch on the heating. Bluetooth music speaker system with induction charger for mobile music streamimg by the pool. Coffee machine complete with coffee pods from Costco. An option on a welcome pack, at an additional cost, would have been good, bread, milk, eggs etc But plenty of local supermarkets nearby. Pure Project micro brewery was a 15 minute walk and recommended if staying here. 5 star property and the owners could not be more helpful, highly recommended. Will look to rebook for future plans of returning to the San Diego area.

Some glitches and annoyances but overall good stay

We were so excited to stay at this house. We had our family of 4 and two grandparents with us for spring break. The kids shared a room with bunk beds and the other adults each had a bedroom. We enjoyed the pool, the close location to amenities, and the space for everyone.However, there were definitely things we were frustrated with. First, the owner told us the pool was going to be cold. We could pay extra to have it heated; we agreed. However, he tried to get us to pay him via Venmo which is against VRBO rules. We went back and forth with this (I do not do payments outside of the official booking for both parties' protection), and he finally let us pay through VRBO. The pool was heated when we arrived so that was nice. However, the pool was pretty dirty and the pool vacuum went clear across the pool. We cleaned it as best as we could, but we asked if we could remove the vacuum when it wasn't cleaning. The hose was long and kept us from easily swimming from one side to other. The owner told us we could not remove it. The pool toys were all in an outdoor tub and covered in mold. We did appreciate the outdoor speaker and furniture and liked to hang out there after dark.The couch in the living room needs to be replaced. People sunk in the sides of the cushions like the frame was broken. And none of the bedrooms had overhead lights. They only had side lamps, which made the rooms really dark.Overall a nice stay but for the prices, we were a little disappointed.
