Welcome to one of the best hidden gems in Marin County!

The cottage at Paradise Del Mar is located on JAR Farms, a stunning, family-owned nine acres of beachfront property in Tiburon.

It’s a “cottage” in the way a penthouse suite is a “room.” This newly renovated three bedroom, two bathroom home overlooks our rose garden, with shared access to our entire property: The pool, the beach, the walking trails …. you’ll even get fresh honey from our bees, fruit from our orchards and fresh eggs from our hens.

We found this gorgeous property at a moment of crisis for our family. JAR Farms is named after my three kids, who have turned the property into a for-teens, by-teens wellness retreat center.

All our cottages and houses have been renovated with green building standards and recycled materials prioritized.

This respite from the world is just 20 minutes from Golden Gate Bridge, a quick ferry ride to San Francisco, and just a few miles from charming Downtown Tiburon.

Great natural surroundings!

A gem of a property! We had a very relaxing time and the property had great access to nature and the pool/beach. Easy trip to town. Was very beautiful especially when we had dinner on the patio.

If you're looking to disconnect, unwind, relax and get away for a few days this is the place to go. Peace and tranquility were how we spent our four days, enjoying the full kitchen for slow morning breakfasts, strolling around the grounds in the evening listening to the waves. Our hosts were super attentive to our needs and have great recommendations for local places to have dinner. Highly recommend!!

Weekend Getaway

We had the best stay. Communication was top notch. We enjoyed getting to walk around the property grounds each day and the proximity to eateries and other places to stroll. The 3 resident pups were also so sweet. The cottage was incredibly clean and well appointed. We feel so lucky to have been hosted by such kind souls! Thank you so much!

Property not well maintained. Nothing like the pictures. Advertised as including pool and spa. Both were not in usable condition. It needs a thorough cleaning in and out.

Incredible Spot

We absolutely loved this vrbo, it was so beautiful we almost didnt want to leave to explore the bay area. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The house was just perfect for our family. Highly recommend this VRBO 5+ Star

Tiburon cottage

The cottage was beautifully decorated, clean and cozy, but the pool and hot tub were not available while we were there and the “beach” was neither appealing nor accessible. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding, but no regular coffee maker. There were many steps to the cottage which were difficult to maneuver with large suitcases. The hosts were lovely and eager to help any way they could. Overall we had a memorable stay in a beautiful location!

Rare, seculded spot in Tiburon to relax and reconnect.

Great place to enjoy some indoor/outdoor living, walk the grounds, enjoy the views, relax , read, reconnect, do some yoga, enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. Newly renovated, with all new furniture, and a great jura coffee machine, the pictures represent the place well. The hosts were super nice and friendly, and gave me a great cake for my birthday. Best carrot cake I ever had. The accommodation is a guest house just behind the hosts home. The vast grounds, 3 friendly dogs roaming around, chickens, and bees do provide a bit of a farm feel. It is amazing how remote it feels, and its still just 7 minutes to town and a great ferry ride to SF and angel island. I biked there a couple times as well. We would definately come again sometime for a long extended weekend, and recommend it for others looking for an escape in Tiburon.

Amazing Unexpected Gem

When we saw "farm," we didn't fully know what to expect. This place is incredible. If you stay here, you are staying on a large compound with the amenities of a luxury resort. From an almost personal swimming pool to two hot tubs to a lush rose and flower garden to a beach front with views of the San Francisco Bay, even the first blush is far more than promised or expected. The details of fresh fruit and eggs as well as wine and honey from the bees on the property were fantastic extras that show the level of detail in the management of the cottage and property. Athena (the on site host) even got milk ahead of time for the fridge when we arrived. The cottage was stylish and updated with brand new appliances and washer/dryer. Athena (who was very responsive) even gave us a tour of the property which is a vast adventure in itself. The location is great for the Bay Area and only about 25 minutes from Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate area. Couldn't recommend this place more highly!
