The Adorable "Blue Breeze"!

Enjoy time at our centrally-located, family-friendly home. Close by, you'll find a public fishing dock and the popular Phil's Beach. A peaceful space with an outside patio and grill, perfect for relaxing at end of day. We also have a large driveway that can accommodate your boat making it easy to enjoy a day on Bangs Lake or a short 15 min trip to Fox Lake. Nearby attractions include the Volo Museum, Jurassic Gardens, and Lake County Discovery Museum. Please note the backyard is not fenced in.

Wonderful neighborhood with friendly people. The house is next to a condo building but yet still private. The house has a wonderful backyard to relax. Park, beach, fishing are all nearby. Just a wonderful area.

If you will be having a dog stay please be sure to book it in the app. No other animals allowed. If your dog is not registered the fee will be doubled. Thank you for your cooperation.
My mission is to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, relaxing and fun! For me to do so, I would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules.
-Please be sure to list how many guests will be staying in order for us to provide enough towels and linens.
-If you have a boat, be sure to have a block with you if disconnecting the trailer on the driveway.
-No parties, loud noises or events.
-No unregistered guests.
-No smoking at all of any kind inside. Minimum" $200 fee and possibly more depending on cleaning/damages.
-Accidents can happen, if something should happen or something breaks often times there will not be an added charge as long as you notify me of it. If the issue is discovered later, there will be an additional charge.
-Extended stays longer than 21 days will require an extra cleaning fee
PETS:
-Pet fee of $100 for up to 2 dogs (no puppies or dogs younger than 1 1/2 years, no cats or other animals, double the fee if dogs not registered). - Dogs cannot be left unattended outside or inside unless they are crated inside. - No obsessive dog barking.
BATHROOMS:
“Dark” wash clothes are available to use when removing make-up. Please do not use the white clothes. -Please be careful with hair in sinks and only toilet paper in the toilet. (I know, sounds crazy but need to say it) 😉
KITCHEN:
- Dishwasher is for your use but only run dishwasher while you are home in case there is ever a leak.

This is our second time staying at the Blue Breeze. It’s perfect for our needs, located very close to lovely downtown Wauconda and in a quiet neighborhood. It’s always very clean, offers up nice little amenities (toiletries, assortment of coffees, etc.) and Jon is quick to respond to any questions. We look forward to returning!

Cozy family cottage

This cozy little house was perfect for us. The 1 and 5 year olds shared a room (we had plenty of room for our travel crib) while the 3-year-old enjoyed a big bed to herself. The master was spacious, with a closet and dresser for those who like to settle in. The kitchen was tight for dining, but it was still suitable and we were grateful there were enough chairs for our whole family. Plenty of amenities to make the house comfortable (fans, towels, toys, beach towels, coffee condiments) with nice furniture and decent beds.Highly recommend for families or seniors, on account of the single-story layout.

Amazing

This is a really lovely property with an incredible host. Everything is provided for you, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent etc. The host is really helpful as well. An excellent property which we hope to return to in the future.

A Comfortable Stay

We had a good experience. The property was exceptionally clean, which we appreciated the most. Thoughtful touches like towels, teas, coffee, and other small comforts made it feel welcoming and cozy. It was a good fit for our family of three, and we’d definitely stay again.

Perfect For Our Needs

This adorable place is as advertised! Nice, quiet neighborhood and the home satisfied all of our needs. Very close to a beautiful downtown neighborhood and major shopping/restuarants close by. Although we never needed to contact Jon about any issues, he was very communicative throughout the stay. We'd love to return!

Family Wedding in Woodstock

Wished we could've spent more time in this darling home! Family in nearby town so really just a place to sleep and change clothes, lol. We were very comfortable, neighborhood was peaceful, and house had everything we could have needed! Grabbed a bite at Slyce, just down Main St. Delicious! Communication with host was unparalleled. Would love to rebook!

Thought of everything

The property was booked by me for some volunteers at an event. I didnt stay ther personally but they said "Nice place, sweet people for leaving water, oatmeal and snacks. Even left dog cookies and dog toys. The owners thought of everything." From my point of view, the only thing that could improve was that check out details could be sent earlier. The volunteers told me they couldnt find them and it wasnt until after they checked out that I saw the email that said where to find the instructions. If that came a day earlier i could have passed it on so I hope they did everything necessary.

Highly Recommend

The house is just as lovely as the photos and felt warm and welcoming when we arrived. The premises are clean and well appointed. Everything is well maintained. On a couple occasions we needed to communicate with Jon and he was prompt and responsive to our needs and questions. The location is very convenient to restaurants and shops. There is plenty of parking space. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue breeze !!! We were in town for a 1st birthday party and the location of this property was perfect ! The house was so clean and beautiful! We loved staying there! Due to weather we didn’t utilize the backyard, but what an adorable set up! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
