Newly renovated with new furnishings! This vacation cottage is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood in between York Harbor and Long Sands beaches. Enjoy your morning coffee while you listen to the harbor bell buoy from the deck or roast marshmallows by the firepit after a day at the beach. A great location with only a 5 minute walk to the oceanside Cliff Walk, 15 minute walk to York Harbor Beach and 3 minute drive to Long Sands Beach. The house is bright, open and comfortable with a separate family room with games and a XBox for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook a lobster dinner, grill or simply enjoy takeout at the large dining table. York is a wonderful town to visit with walking/bike trails, beaches, zoo, quaint downtown with shopping, ice cream, candy stores, arcade and restaurants. A 15-20 minute drive to both Portsmouth, NH and Ogunquit.

House is beautiful and very clean. Kitchen has all the basics you need for cooking and the rooms are very comfortable, The game room in the downstairs is a nice touch. Plenty of televisions and very good WiFi. Melanie is an excellent source of information on local restaurants and activities. Neighborhood is well situated and close to many attractions and points of interest.

Gorgeous House, Great Location!

Gorgeous, clean, spacious house- just as pictured!! Fantastic neighborhood, right between Long Sands and York Harbor Beach.This house has so many perks, is spotless, and abundantly stocked. Communication with the owner was great! She was so kind and generous. We arrived to a gift basket and a timely check-in to see if we had any questions. If you're thinking of booking- do it!!

This property is well kept and has a beautiful decor. This is the second time we have rented this property. First was last summer for my daughter’s bachelorette party and then last week for my daughter’s wedding. The location is in a residential neighborhood within walking distance to the ocean. Our host Melanie was amazing and accommodated our request. It will always be a special place for my daughter going forward. Thank you for the memories.

Great beach vacation

The house was incredibly clean and well stocked. It really felt like a home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet but still close to downtown and the beaches. When we had a question the host was very friendly and quick to respond. We’re already planning our next trip to York and plan to stay here again.

Had a family thanksgiving in this lovely home! House and location is beautiful. Very upscale and beach decor, fully stocked, and Melanie could not have been a more considerate host! Beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets are amazing!

Great place in great location

Melanie did a great job and has a beautiful, clean, comfortable place. The location was great – the ocean was visible and could be heard from the front and backyard. Nice neighborhood and close to many great spots - Nubble Light house, Ogunquit, Portsmouth. Every thing seemed new and clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home

Great place! Exactly as pictured, beautiful kitchen, lots of space. Had a girls trip with 6 women, perfect for us. Would also be a great place for 2 families to share. We traveled to both York beaches and Ogunquit beaches and restaurants with ease. Quiet neighborhood within a short drive to lots of fun. Hosts were extremely welcoming and communicative. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful house in a perfect location...

We liked everything about our stay at this house. It's newly renovated, very tastefully. Perfect for our family trip for a wedding. The neighborhood is leafy and quiet. While not beachfront, you can see the ocean through the trees. And pass by in full view on walks. Close to stores, restaurants, and Long Beach, but far from the madding crowd. In fact we are discussing coming back to rent next year, for a family vacation, no wedding required.

Lovely stay in York!

The house was beautiful and well-located to some great beaches (we spend most of our time on Long Beach - which the kids loved). The inside is recently renovated with some high-end appliances. The layout is open and there's plenty of sleeping space for kids (two bunks and one additional bedroom w/ king/queen bed downstairs). Finally, can't say enough about the property owner, Melanie. She was there at our beck and call and was an absolute joy to deal with. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Feel at home on vacation

This house was AMAZING and I would highly recommend for anyone to stay here. The house was pristine with beautiful beach themed colors and perfectly placed decor but at the same time, it felt very welcoming and homey and was set up in a way that was very kid friendly. The bedrooms were huge and the bunk bed room was a big hit with our kids. The bathrooms had the best smelling toiletries, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the basics (plus many extras) you would need to cook at home and the deck/ backyard were perfect for listening to the ocean with a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink after a day at the beach. The stocked laundry room was such an added bonus as well. It was so nice to come home from vacation with all clean clothes. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and it was just a short walk in either direction to the either the Cliff Walk or to the start of Long Sands Beach. Melanie was a great host. She was readily available leading up to our rental, left a welcome basket for us, provided a long list of recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and she even checked in on us after our first day to make sure we were happy with everything. I have been vacationing in York for over 25 years and have stayed in many places throughout that time, but this was hands down the best and I will definitely be reaching out to book this house again in the future. Thank you, Melanie, for a wonderful experience!

Amazing!

What an incredible stay. Melanie’s home is absolutely beautiful. We visited with three adults and two kids, ages five and ten for nearly a week. The home is beautifully decorated, recently renovated, and fully stocked. We were able to arrive and simply unpack. The kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with quality dishes, cups, and wine glasses. There were kid’s dishes as well! There is TFal cookware, spices in the cabinet, dish soap, trash bags, and a complete set up for a lobster dinner / boil if you’d like. The beds were so comfortable with beautiful linens and the bathrooms were stocked with the best smelling soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There are plenty of towels and even laundry detergent to use in the brand new washer and dryer. The back patio and yard were wonderful with great quality furniture and a solo stove. There was even a bundle of wood for us to use. There are ocean views from the porch and at night you can relax under the stars and hear the buoys ringing in the distance. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, gorgeous, and safe. Side walks are everywhere making the town so accessible by foot. Melanie went above and beyond to quickly answer any questions and ensure that we had a wonderful stay. She even left a basket of goodies for us to enjoy. It was an absolutely wonderful experience, do not hesitate to book this home. It was an amazing find!

Doug and I got married at the York Harbor Inn back in 2002 and so York has always been a special place to us. Little did we know back then we'd end up buying a cottage in this beautiful neighborhood many years later. It was meant to be! And we are thrilled to make this a memorable place for others to be able to stay and enjoy all that this picturesque town has to offer.
