My review is very positive: in summary I would stay there again. I rented the house for a week, for my whole family, to spend Christmas in Fpolis. Overall, we had an awesome time at the house, and the location is indeed very convenient to walk to beach, stores, bars, bakery, etc. The common rooms in the house follow the open concept, that was so important for the holidays, when we were all cooking/playing games/watching tv/listening to music/bathing in the pool together: it all felt very integrated in that nice & pretty open space. Cooking in the large kitchen was nice and easy. There were plenty of refrigerators/freezers for everything. Bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice, spacious and clean. The small pool was such a nice treat, we used it a lot more than we thought we would! TV had all the channels you might possibly want, and music system was just great. The house felt more private than I thought: the greenery made the common space very secluded from the street. The owner was very attentive during the whole process, and sent us a few messages during our stay to check that everything was good. He made videos for us to make sure we knew how to use some things in the house, and that was pretty cool.
Having said all that, of course just like any house, it has its quirks: the water wasn’t always hot in certain bathrooms, and that’s probably due to our inaptitude in playing with the (tricky) water compression system (but owner explained the system quite well). The common rooms could use some ceiling fans (floor fans were provided, which helped in the summer heat – bedrooms had air-conditioning, thankfully!). One bathroom lacks mirror; and one bedroom didn’t seem to have any outlet (I’m sure owner will look into these). Finally, not much can be done about this, but the street was pretty noisy on weekend nights (it was the season for parties…).
