The home was built in 1894 for Edward J. Cornish of the famed Paxton & Gallagher Company. The home was then owned by the famous George & Sarah Joslyn (of the Joslyn Museum & the Joslyn Castle - both local tourist attractions). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and prepare meals. We have an electric stove, microwave, air fryer, full-size refrigerator, Ninja bullet blender, ZeroWater purifier pitcher, drip & Keurig coffee maker, milk frother, and a cute breakfast nook where you can enjoy the sunrises!
The dining room features a large table that seats 6, along with a chaise lounge and an antique trunk filled with games for the whole family!
The main floor bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries. Features include a shower/tub with detachable shower hose, water purifier, a bidet and a large vanity.
The four bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping arrangements, with a range of soft & firm pillows and mattresses, and luxury cotton/microfiber sheets to reach your desired comfort level. There are also 2 Japanese futon floor mattresses located in the upstairs bedrooms for additional sleeping accommodations.
The basement features a laundry room fully stocked with laundry soap, stain remover, & dryer sheets. The rest of the basement is currently under construction but will soon feature a completely separate 2nd apartment unit :)
