CABIN IN THE PINES….A Real log cabin, with modern amenities, nestled in the middle of tall pines and hardwoods. Enjoy the mountain air from the deck or the hot tub.
Our cabin is located in Tellico Plains, TN at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and the gateway to the Cherohala Skyway and the Cherokee National Forest. Tellico is home to world-class trout fishing, an abundance of hiking trails and waterfalls, as well as 3 rivers close offering whitewater rafting, kayaking, and tubing.
The space
Situated on a beautiful mountainside, our rustic log cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, with the possibility of adding 2 more people if needed. Cabin has 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a full-sized futon, and 2 bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
Kitchen amenities include a full-sized stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. All necessary silverware, cookware, and drinkware are provided. To start the day out right, there is a Keurig machine ready to brew your coffee, hot tea, or hot chocolate!
There is a Smart TV with high speed internet/Wi-Fi. The outside deck beckons visitors to relax in the hot tub while enjoying incredible views of both day and nighttime skies.
IMPORTANT: NO PETS. We love animals too but they can cause allergens for other guests.
Guest access
Our private street is in a quiet neighborhood with only a handful of cabins and residents who live here year-round. The main road leading to our private street is paved. However, our private road is gravel and steep and can be bumpy at times depending on the season. It is not an issue for cars and trucks.
Other things to note
Because of the steep, gravel road, motorcycles and vehicles pulling trailers should contact us first before booking. The road may not be difficult to an experienced rider, while others may find it challenging. We ride both dirt bikes and street motorcycles and do not have an issue; however, the gravel road may be intimating to some.
