The home was originally built in the 1940s and, while remodeled, remains an older property. This is a clean, functional, budget-friendly accommodation and should be considered a no-frills stay, not a luxury rental.

Residents enjoy easy access to public transportation and the city’s beaches, and the area is pedestrian-friendly, with numerous parks and green spaces perfect for relaxing or taking a stroll. However, the neighborhood does have its challenges, including higher traffic near downtown, occasional noise from businesses and busy streets, and some areas showing signs of wear. Crime rates are higher compared to suburban neighborhoods, and certain parts may appear underdeveloped, with aging infrastructure. Despite these issues, 19th Street offers a convenient and dynamic base for exploring the best of Corpus Christi.

Entire studio apartment is free for your use throughout your stay. No one else will be occupying the unit. We do rent the front house separately and that at times may be occupied during your stay. Parking is shared with the two homes.

Friendly Heads-Up About Extended Stays & Pet Fees 🐾✨

We love hosting longer stays! Just a quick heads-up to keep everything transparent and comfy for everyone:

🧼 Mid-Stay Cleaning:
For stays over 7 nights, we require a mid-stay cleaning to help keep the space fresh. This is the same as the regular cleaning fee and will be collected after booking via the Airbnb Resolution Center.

Since Airbnb doesn’t allow these to be included in the nightly rate or built-in fees, we’ll send any necessary requests through the “Change Reservation” tool after booking.

★ ★ ★It's important to note that both homes will be occupied during your stay, sharing the same lot, and there's a communal back patio for everyone to enjoy. Washer and dryer access is also shared and is located in the garage area and is shared among all guests in front home (up to 6 guests) and all guests in studio unit.

We take regular measures for pest control across all our units due to our coastal location and the humid climate. While we strive to keep things bug-free, you might come across occasional water bugs, spiders, mosquitos, flies, cockroaches, June bugs, ants, and other critters. If you spot any, kindly let us know immediately so we can schedule a visit from our pest control team. Rest assured, while we work hard to maintain a pest-free environment, encountering some of these creatures is a natural part of life on the Texas Coast.

Please note that these items are intended to get you started — any additional supplies beyond the starter pack are the guest’s responsibility unless your stay is 14 days or longer, in which case we may offer a mid-stay replenishment.
