Thank you, Ricky. I am not sure what your ideal location would be for this area, but we are pleased that you liked the house and are thankful for your review. The house is minutes away from downtown Harper’s Ferry, Shepherdstown, Charles Town, hiking trails, whitewater rafting, historic sites, the Charles Town casino and much more. The house is located in a peaceful, quiet, friendly and private neighborhood, with waterfront views and private access to the Potomac River. By every measure, this house is considered to be in a great location.

We had a beautiful two night stay at the waterfront property in Harpers Ferry! We pulled into the driveway on the first night and found a mother deer with two baby fawns. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled in and saw some beautiful chickens on the neighbor's property next door. Was fun to wake up in the mornings and sip tea on the porch overlooking the river and all of the wildlife! Loved the property and the communication!

Awesome Rental

We had an amazing stay at this property. The beds are way comfortable. The deck with fire pit allows you to have relaxing evenings.🔥 Would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Harpers Ferry Gals getaway

The property was amazing and a wonderful place to gather with friends overlooking the beautiful Potomac River. Matt was so prompt with his communications and answering my questions. The home was impeccable with lots of extras to make it feel like home away from home. The entire group loved our stay.

Sparkling clean!

Comfortable beds, lots of room, beautiful river location. Close to Harper’s Ferry, Antietam, walking/hiking trails. Very quiet neighborhood. Cozy electric fireplace and rec room downstairs. We were able to check in an hour early. Great family house!

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful visit to Harpers Ferry and this property was the perfect place. We spent most of our days out hiking, but enjoyed coming back to the home to relax by the river. Conveniently located between Harpers Ferry and Charlestown made our dining out options very accessible. Our kids loved the pool table in the large rec room.

Beautiful Place

This was a great house to celebrate our friend's birthday! It was beautiful and well-equipped! We wish the water levels were higher in order to enjoy the river more, but the view was spectacular! Management was awesome!

Fantastic getaway

Riverfront brand new home, excellent hiking, great restaurants, quiet setting, fire pit right at river's edge, also one on the deck of home. 2 levels of open living space, just a great river front home. Will be back!

Birthday with family

We had a good stay. We especially enjoyed the deck with gas fire pit and grill. The location is convenient to Harper's Ferry sites. This was our 29th vrbo booking. The kitchen could use some simple additions to make it easier to prepare and eat meals: large serving/mixing/salad bowls, more plates and bowls, mirrors and waste baskets in the bedrooms, more hooks or towel racks in the bathroom.

Thank you for the feedback, Dave. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and appreciate the recommendations. We do have several large serving/mixing/salad bowls in the kitchen currently, but I will check to ensure they are easy to find. I would have been glad to assist had I known you were unable to find these items. We have dishes, glasses and silverware for 8 guests (our maximum allowed), but I will check these as well to ensure we still have enough. We will consider adding waste baskets in the bedrooms and additional towel racks in the bathrooms. We currently have double towel racks with a shelf on top in each bathroom, and hooks in each bedroom to allow each guest to hang their towels. etc... in their own rooms if they prefer.
