We loved our stay at teddy cloud! We stayed here with our friends and pups and the space was perfect! Everything was charming, cozy and functional. Dogs loved the yard and we were so impressed!

This is a gorgeous cabin in a fantastic location. We loved our stay in the Sacramento Mountains, the cabin was so well laid out and we really appreciated the fenced in dog area. Cloudcroft was a fun little town and we loved how easy it was to get to White Sands. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our second stay at Teddy Cloud and it was just as pleasant as the first. You just can't beat this place in Cloudcroft if you have a dog. Beautiful view, great deck, everything you need. We'll be coming back for a third stay!

The communication with the property owner was great and that made for an easy check-in process. The property was wonderful and it was exactly what we expected when we booked it. We are looking forward to booking it again for our next stay.

The host was very responsive to all of our needs. The cabin was very relaxing. Small and cozy. Had everything that we needed. Description was accurate about the location being close to the Highway. We did experience Highway noise. The fenced yard was good for our pet. Really liked that the porch was fenced and had a latching gate to keep our pet on the porch and having access to the yard.

Cozy cabin

Cabin was very comfortable & owners were very accommodating. Drank coffee on the deck, let the dogs play outside in the dog run, watched movies (needs another remote for upstairs), cooked, shopped in Cloudcroft & Ruidoso, & had a very relaxing Spring Break!

Best in Cloudcroft for Dogs

A very pleasant stay. The cabin is well equipped and there's a great view, comfortable beds, and lots of character. The best part for us though is how well designed it is for dogs, with a good size fenced-in dog run and a wrap around porch that's fenced and secured to give the doggos some freedom in safety. We're planning on coming back next year.

Weekend Getaway

Enjoyable place to stay. There was a tall, chain link fence for our dogs to enjoy the outdoors. Not a far drive at all into Cloudcroft. I would suggest taking your own pods for the Keurig, if you want that versus regular pot coffee.

Great place to stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Teddy Cloud. The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was comfortable and the perfect place to relax. We appreciated the fenced-in yard for our dog. We'll be back!

Cozy cabin

We had such a wonderful stay. This house felt like home. Everything was cozy and welcoming. We sat on the deck In the morning and evening and saw elk and deer. Cloudcroft is a very fun little town to visit and we wish we’d stayed longer!

Beautiful Rustic Mountain Retreat

This is a nice place in the mountains with a good view This is a nice place in the mountains with a good view and lots of elk walking through the woods. We really enjoyed our stay. Great place to see the stars too. Nice little tourist town. I would recommend to anyone who likes being in the mountains and with pets. and lots of elk walking through the woods.

Great Mountain Getaway!

Great place in the woods! Right off the highway, but you wouldn't even know it! Has a beautiful balcony, fantastic ambience, and it was very restful. I only wish that I would have spent more time here than I did! Great job!

Quaint and Quirky Cabin

This compact cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and our dogs. Everything we needed was provided and the location outside of town was great. The host has the entire patio fully enclosed for even the smallest furry friend and the fact that the fenced yard is attached to the house is a plus. If you have pets, this is the place to be.

Worked for us

This place was so comfy. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The bedrooms were nice as well. I appreciated the yard for the dogs which was secure and I didn't need to worry about them. We had a really good time and enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cabin

Love they were dog friendly and well stocked with everything we needed like firewood, propane for grill, et. The fenced in yard was nice. The communication with host was great. The check out process was very reasonable. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Clean and friendly

Enjoyed the stay. Several rooms add character with the low ceilings so watch your head (lol) but we overall enjoyed our stay. It was a short drive to Cloudcroft. We enjoyed a nice steak dinner off the grill one night. Easy entry and exit.

It was nice to have a fenced yard for my pets. I loved that my husband and I could drink a glass of wine and on the patio enjoy the woods and keep an eye on our pets.

Teddy Cloud

We had a nice stay at Teddy Cloud. The hosts have made every effort to ensure the comfort of their guests. Vicki has supplied everything one could possibly need for a great vacation (besides food and drinks of course)! The king bed was comfortable. The hot water and pressure was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked and organized. The wrap around deck with the grill was relaxing and we were able to grill steaks and scallops one evening. The fenced in pet area was perfect for our dogs. Vicki’s home was a great base camp allowing us to have a clean and comfortable place to return to each day after exploring. I could tell she takes a lot of pride in providing for her guests.

I'm a Boston native and she's a Texan-so we have an interesting time figuring out each other's accents! I worked in the leadership development field, am retired, and Vicki taught voice, a classical singer, and is now retired. We retired to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 2020. Visiting the cabin, when we can, to stay and vacation/work is one of our favorite things to do. Vicki is a highly creative and hard-working renovation 'hobbyist', and this cabin has been one of her favorite projects. Me-I'm the janitor and handyman. We don't have any kids, but we do have three dogs and they enjoy our fenced in yard so they can smell new smells and roam around.

We love how relaxing Teddy Cloud cabin can be and the smell of the fresh pine air. Also, we like traveling to other places ourselves as well as returning to Boston to see the Red Sox at Fenway and back to Texas to visit lifelong friends. We hope you enjoy our cabin as much as we do.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

When I first moved out west from Boston I ended up in New Mexico, and used to ride my motorcycle up into Cloudcroft. I promised myself I would one day buy a cabin in the Sacramento Mountains, and finally did it! New Mexico is a special place for us-my Mom lived in Las Cruces and we've retired there from Texas as well. Cloudcroft is a perfect getaway for us because it's a small village and relatively undeveloped (compared to nearby Ruidoso). Getting up to the mountains is something we plan for and anticipate all year.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The deck did it for us-looks out at the mountains and a wonderful view of the meadows. It's surrounded and protected by huge pine trees that provide great shade for reading. We have a high-efficiency woodstove that just about heats the whole place in the winter. Dogs are accepted on approval and it's great and convenient for dogs. The deck is up high and the railings are fenced so dogs can't slip through. This is a unique cabin-we get lots of repeat vacationers who say they love the place. The kitchen is fully stocked and great for preparing meals-the breakfast nook is a great place to drink coffee and look out at the forest and if you're lucky you could see forest animals grazing or passing through, like Elk and deer. Plus, there's a finished play room below the deck with an electric heater and a small pool/ping pong table, TV and a great place for the kids (adults!) or as a getaway to do some quiet reading. What we love about our place is it's out of the village by just 6 miles, 4 miles to Ski Cloudcroft, hidden on a hillside with a dirt packed road, feels really cozy, and there is lots of walking!
