One Bedroom Hideaway with private entrance and garden view

It's unfortunate that Donna did not like her stay she stayed 5 days 4 nights and never once complained until this review. We have Egyptian cotton linen which are high quality thread count and not threadbare or dirty. The overhead lights are all led, have a dimmer and is remote controlled they can adjust from brilliant to night light. She may have had them on the lower settings and could have ask for help to adjust the brightness. There are three lights in the kitchen and motion lights on the patio and walkway. Communication is key for a successful stay, she never responded to my check in about her stay. Just ask for help, we are here to help.

Thank you for staying for 8 days and 7 nights in a place you consider “a dump”. This tells me that you were very comfortable in this dump or you would have reported any incident on day one. You went through great lengths to search outside for issues and found single serving coffee cups next to the condenser in the yard. These cups just happen to be coincidentally the same brand of coffee we left for your use in the apartment. I saw the unit after you left and wondered about what seemed like cereal or animal treats just neatly lined up in a row under one side of the chair just visible enough for a camera and this is a swivel chair. I find it hard to believe you had a level of comfort to have lived with a line of food on the floor for 8 days while you walked back and forth even thought there is a broom and vacuum in the apartment for your convenience or you could have called for housekeeping. All our furniture are moved, rugs taken out floors vacuumed and mopped in between stays so it’s difficult to believe a line of cereal was just poised neatly under a swivel chair. No one for a few stays prior to you had animals or children Why did you not report this upon discovery? Why would you use a refrigerator that has mold for 8 days? This just doesn’t add up. This picture could have been taken at the end of your stay. Yes I will acknowledge the refrigerator has some spots on the front from using the wrong product to clean it. I will not ask the platform to remove this report but need it to stay up to warn other hosts about the quality of client you are before they let you in their home.

I went to the apartment after this review. What looks like dripping liquid on table 1 is a chemical bleaching of the wood due to a previous spill on the underside of the table. The table was clean. To fix this the spot would have to be restrained to match the grain of the wood, That table will be swapped out. Please note this spot was not visible unless someone bends down and looks under the second layer of the table. The stove is an older model and the enamel scratches cannot be wiped away though it may look like dirt in the pictures, so I will look into replacing the stove as soon as possible. A small child with paint made three spots in the back corner of one cushion, it’s not visible from looking at the couch but can be seen only after lifting the plush back cushions that are permanently attached to the back of the sofa. This is hardened paint and cannot be removed. I have ordered a replacement couch. The second lamp table which looks like white marks, is the veneer being lifted this could be due to a moist glass left on the table which lifted the color. That table will be swapped out. Sometimes damage is not evident, we have a storage on site and can easily swap items out if the tenant asks. It would be nice if our guests informs us of any items damaged and gave us a chance to remedy instead of blasting pictures on the internet. Prime example is the picture of where the bathroom door seems to be hitting the door frame and the paint rubbed off next to the lock. A call or private message would have helped and we could address by sanding the frame and repainting . This can happen because this is a bathroom door and moisture such as steam from a shower can make the wood expand. Upon my inspection there was no evidence of dirt in the apartment just worn items that can be swapped or sanded. In a guest review the truth should be paramount. I will also look into my policy of having one nighters like this stay in this apartment as long term guests would have called or communicated with the host. The nit picking of a one night guests is really not worth the headache of a few minuscule dollars from a one night stay. Please note other guest reviews. We have had guests returning for 4 years straight to this apartment without issues and yes they may not leave a review but they return which is the best form of showing approval. We even had a guest stay for two years. This current guest seems problematic and it is hard to cater to someone who is overly dramatic. She “had to sleep on the couch”.. which is also a full bed. She simply has a choice of two beds. I wish her the best in finding a perfect one-night stay with nothing that bothers her however minuscule it is. She complained about the group of golfers next door who were having dinner and may have been easily heard. They are gone playing for the better part of the day. They are very good long term and repeat guests we never got a complaint about them until this one nighter so I would weigh their track record against her complaint.
