Although the lake is low, this house is just a quick 20 minute scenic drive to Bandera, TX the "Cowboy Capitol of the World" as well as drives to Boerne, Kerrville and San Antonio in just under an hour! Hiking, biking and other tourist options are also nearby. Grab a good book, some board games and good friends as you relax, BBQ and enjoy amazing family time in this tranquil lake house with beautiful sunsets.

Rooms were very clean and modern. Great outdoor seating areas. Close proximity to San Antonio and Hill Country outings. Too bad the lake is currently bone dry in that area.

The Best Stay

Great house!

Your house was so cute and clean! King bed in master was AMAZING! This was a great alternative to staying in a hotel with our three kids while away for the weekend. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for letting us stay!

A perfect weekend getaway!!

The house was beautifully furnished, comfortable and extremely clean! My family and I enjoyed the hill country sunsets on patio that looks out over the lakebed and faces west. The fire pits and grill were greatly appreciated and helped to make our evenings relaxing and enjoyable!! We will definitely be back!!

Even though the lake is dry, that did not stop our family from having a great time at this beautiful lake home. It is very clean and beautiful. The host is very helpful and responsive. Thank you for having us!

Family get together

Our daughter lives near this rental and we were able to walk to her house for a birthday celebration. We came back in the early evening and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and scenery. Our oldest grand daughter loves looking for fossils and explored every evening. We enjoyed our time and will visit again.

Beautiful Home

We had a fantastic stay at this house. The deck is amazing and the view of the lake bottom is really neat. The tech setup is great, the place was clean, and the master bed is amazing. The bunk beds are great for kiddos. The grill is perfect for hanging out and enjoying an outdoor evening meal with a view of the sunset. Highly recommend.

Beautiful House, Great Price (a little dry)

The house was absolutely beautiful! It was very well-maintained and clean. The gas grill and the fire pit worked well (although it was too hot to hang out by the fire in the summer :). There is also a really nice speaker setup. It’s built in, and it goes to all the rooms in the house. My friends and I wanted a weekend away, and the house exceeded our expectations, ESPECIALLY for the price. The host was also very helpful and nice! One thing that I should mention is that the lake is dry right now, so if you’re looking for swimming and boating, it’s probably not the place for you. That being said, if you’re looking for a fun trip to get away from the world with a medium sized group (6-8 people) and aren’t to invested in the water but want a good price, this is the perfect place for you!
