Our family of 4 loved this cabin! It’s close to town but also very private and relaxing. The cabin is very cozy and clean. Our kids loved the books and games and it had everything we needed.

What a wonderful place! My best friend and I had a girls' weekend away and we could not have been more pleased with this lovely cabin. It's cozy, comfortable and very well appointed. We did not lack for anything.Larry is a considerate and thoughtful host. Special shout out for the new sponge in the kitchen! My always pet peeve is a sponge that you don't know where it's been. I usually bring my own, but forgot it this time. What a great surprise to find that! I would add another star just for the new sponge.You will love this place-a perfect 10!

Quiet Getaway

This is a great spot for nature lovers. I enjoyed watching deer in the morning and watching the squirrels, chipmunks, and birds from the deck. It’s a beautiful place to recharge and enjoy the slower pace of Idyllwild. The property feels very private but it’s also close to everything.

Quiet and Private Location

We loved the secluded feeling of the location of the cabin. It was a short few minute drive to restaurants and hiking trails. The spacious deck was a nice relaxing bonus. The cabin had an updated kitchen and everything we needed. The only negative was the inefficiency and noise of the wall heater downstairs on two chilly days. The upstairs was always much warmer even when no heaters were on anywhere. The bathroom heater was also nice to have. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.

Wonderful Retreat and Location

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary, and we were not disappointed. This lovely, warm, and welcoming cabin was everything we hoped for. The beautiful outdoor deck quickly became our favorite spot—perfect for greeting the morning, sharing quiet moments, enjoying meaningful conversations, and grilling some great BBQ.From the deck, we also enjoyed watching squirrels, chipmunks, and birds frolic around. The birds gathered at a well-stocked feeder, while the squirrels kept us entertained with their playful energy. It was peaceful, charming, and added so much to the experience.The cabin itself was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Communication from the owners was excellent, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful care they extended to us as welcomed guests.We highly recommend this special place and are already looking forward to returning!

Our stay at Boulder Creek Cottage was lovely! Such a cozy peaceful setting nestled within trees with a babbling stream out back. The cottage was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Great weekend getaway!!

Had a wonderful time. The cabin was great, and the outside deck was beautiful. We enjoyed our time and wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby hiking was the best I’ve seen since North Carolina. Would love to come back again.

Amazing property

This property is a great location. Wonderful place to relax and apend time with nature. Property owner is super helpful and the property itself was stocked with everything that we needed and the owner was super helpful even giving us a warning of potential surprise snow the day we left.

We can’t express how much we enjoyed our stay at Boulder Creek! We had our annualMarch Madness getaway and it exceeded our expectations. The beautiful cabin was so comfortable and cozy. The wildlife of birds, chipmunks, and squirrels that entertained us was heartwarming. The swing and deck provided perfect places to relax! It also felt very private. A very special place. We will definitely be back!

Oh so cute and Comfortable.

Perfect in every way for 2 couples. Larry is the best host as well. Lots of wildlife right outside the window. One of my favorites was watching the hummingbird coming to the hummingbird feeder right outside the window as I sat on the living room couch. We will be back for sure!

This is a perfect getaway for a few days to allow one to breath in the mountain air, enjoy the wildlife, hiking, rock climbing, biking, horseback riding, antiquing, shopping, or to just rest, renew, restore and reconnect. Our cottage provides a wonderful mountain ambiance, yet with all the modern conveniences. Whether used as a romantic honeymoon venue, a fun-filled family retreat, or just a cozy getaway, we think you will love our cottage.
