Welcome to AAT, your waterfront Timber A-Frame escape. Perched above the French River. Surrounded by 2+ acres of northern forest, this architectural retreat blends luxury and nature. Gather in the bright open-concept space or unwind outdoors by the fire or in the year-round hot tub. Sleeps 6 with a cozy loft and a wheelchair-friendly primary king room. We had an amazing stay! The host was thoughtful and quick to respond, which made the whole experience seamless from start to finish. The place was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and the whole experience even better than expected. Everything was well cared for and comfortable. We truly had a fantastic experience and would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Peaceful

The property was exactly as the pictures. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Heather was an amazing host and left lots of thoughtful touches all around the house. We had a mini honeymoon here but it would also be perfect for a family with kids or teens

Luxury Cottage on the French River

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. The cottage had everything we needed to ensure we had a comfortable and stress-free stay. So many nice, and over-the-top touches provided by Heather, but I won't spoil them all here. Highly Recommended!

Fun @ the A

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was absolutely beautiful, so clean and well l-maintained. Our host, Heather was absolutely wonderful and there were so many personal touches that made our vacation, one to remember. We will definitely be returning! Thank you @ Heather for creating a beautiful, soulful and fun space where we created so many memories and had the time of our lives!

Hi there and welcome. I'm Heather, I look forward to hosting and sharing this amazing Timber A frame Cabin on French River with you. I've been planning trips, events and experiences for friends and family for over 15 years and have decided to design and build the perfect unique wheelchair friendly Cabin to help others create memories in my favourite place, French River.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

French River has been my home town since I was a teenager. My husband and children love the area so much we decided to build a unique Aframe to share this fabulous small town vibe with others. French River is an historic Ontario destination that surrounds itself with lush private scenery that is not over populated.
Just a short drive north of the Muskokas.

AAT Timber Aframe brings a unique experience. Being perched above the French River, gives breathtakling views from anywhere in the A but with the extra bonus of 200+ feet of private waterfront with dock, 7 feet of depth, water toys and great fishing. The unique one of kind Timber Construction with captivate you from the minute you step in until you say goodbye. Nothing says cabin life like a wood Aframe set in 2+ acres of wooded northern trees, overlooking the beautiful French River.
