Welcome to Toucan Play in Lanark Village, the best deal along Florida's Forgotten Coast, where you can enjoy old Florida charm along the state's most pristine waterfront. The village is a historic WWII Army Barracks converted into vacation rentals, soft-retirement community, and 9-hole golf course right along St. George Sound. Park for free and bring your boat--the ramp is down the hill--and fish Dog Island or roll into the nearby town of Carrabelle by sea! It's only a 5-minute drive to Carrabelle or a 30-minute drive to the ranked beaches of St. George Island or the oystering village of Apalachicola. Our unit has a king bed, brand new futon, kitchen, and front & back patios!

A quiet getaway

I used to live in this community and it was nice finding a place to relax and stay at that was affordable for my stay. Would recommend it to anyone that wants to unwind from the city life for a little while.

Perfect.

Very quaint, cozy, and well decorated!

Well stocked kitchen, front and back patios, fire pit, washer and dryer. Very comfortable bed.

Where to retire for the long term

We came to see what Lanark Village was about as a retirement option. We definitely could see ourselves there. Very laid back and the community of people there were very friendly and open. We will be making more trips there for sure.

Price was excellent, property was super clean very impressed on the cleanliness. AC works great very cute beach vibe. I will always rent this place when I come back. Highly recommend

Fantastic Stay

Loved this little cottage! The place was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. The location was very quiet and we felt safe. It was not far from Carrabelle and easy to access. Our host made our check in easy, and his directions were easy to understand. Will be booking again in the future! Would highly recommend.

The place was as pictured. Really quiet and peaceful. And Carabelle is an amazing town to explore. The hosts where responsive with any questions and or concerns. Overall would stay again.

I’ve been here almost a month. The host is the BEST!!!! The unit is peaceful, comfortable and bigger than it appears. I’m transition until I move here this feels like home. You will not be disappointed!! Will be referring all my guest to this property!

WOW!!

Wonderful community. Wonderful host more than willing to be helpful. I’m here in transition moving, starting new job etc. Host attentive, responsive, doing everything to make sure in this stressful time they are making sure I have no stress. Community is perfect, quiet, kind neighbors, kind community!! Forgotten coast is a lil piece of heaven!!
