Very unusual open guest house studio in fantastic central Austin location.
Gay friendly neighborhood.
Terrific open layout. 13 foot ceilings, concrete floors. Modern kitchen and bath. Great outdoor space. Was formerly a potters studio. Exceptionally quiet, very thick walls.
Clarksville is an eclectic central Austin neighborhood five minutes from downtown. Great neighborhood restaurants, coffee, grocery a block away.
Nothing quite like this in Austin.
Washer/dryer in unit. High speed Level 2 Electric Vehicle charger available at no cost in private offstreet parking space.
Terrific central Austin neighborhood. Clarksville is great. Five minutes to downtown. Tons of fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood. West Lynn Street is a block away (has great Fresh Plus grocery, famous coffee house, restaurants, etc). Beautiful eclectic mix of houses. Very Old Austin. Austin is a boomtown so there may be construction in the area (generally limited mostly to reasonable weekday hours but there's not an absolute guarantee of that, and this guest house is unusually well sound insulated, probably because of it's former use as a pottery studio), chickens running loose (an Old Austin tradition), road closures for events, street races, etc.
Gorgeous landscaping. The areas on three sides of the guest house are for guest house usage. The stone patio area with the outdoor fireplace is the owners front yard and is primarily for their use. Use of this area would be by invite only.
Brand new cocktail pool with swim current excercise by Endless Pools, plus brand new top of the line hot tub (hot tub can also be at lower temps during hot months, but the extent of that is unknown at this time).
Private parking space with Level 2 electric vehicle charger. Downtown five minutes by Uber.
If you have very few five star reviews we may require a photo ID (cellphone pic of drivers license or passport). There may be other requirements as well (see house rules prior to booking)
