This is a new vrbo and the house has been renovated! Only 1 mile to Downtown Athens! Bring the whole family to this great little but spacious farmhouse with lots of room for fun. 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6-8) /1 bath/ cute porch/ full kitchen/ back patio with lg table and firepit! Beautiful property hidden from the street with large front yard! 5 window unit A/Cs and ceiling fans in every room make it quite comfortable! 2 cozy leather recliners in the living room sit back relax and watch The Game.
The space
Beautiful and spacious completely renovated older home! All rooms have been painted beautifully bright colors from ceiling to floor with new flooring in 3 rooms! 4 A/Cs and a free standing A/C Make it quite comfortable in this Georgia heat. Beautiful rugs tie it all together! Definitely a must see and a great place to stay while visiting Athens Ga!

We had a great stay in Athens. The host was ver attentive and responsive. The house is super cute with lots of fun things to look at and very well stocked. Great location for our trip to see our boys at UGA.

We loved our stay! The house had every appliance we could need and had snacks and coffee on the counter and breakfast items in the fridge!We loved all the details of the property. Every space was snuggly and interesting! There were clean and comfy blankets all around the house. The decor was amazing an we loved the bathroom and it’s clawfoot tub.Although we came to town to work and did not get to take advantage of everything the house had to offer, was so much to do at the house: a fire pit, with fire wood stocked, a hot tub, puzzles and board games, cozy sleeping arrangements, and lots of places to sit and relax together.

We were in Athens for our daughter’s graduation from UGA. We were also fairly late getting a place to stay, so hotels were booked or ridiculously expensive. We were stoked to find and stay Athens Music Gem. This is not your typical, beige, West Elm rental. This is character and comfort and eclectic taste and memory lane…and seriously the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. If you grew up in the late 80’s and early 90’s college music scene and have any appreciative history with REM, The B-52s, Pylon, 5-8, or Widespread Panic, you’re gonna love this place.If there’s a little bit of a hippie in you and you’ve ever sat in a place and thought, “if I wasn’t so unnecessarily worried about resale value, this is exactly how I’d decorate”, you’re gonna love this place. If you’re breathing, and human and care at all about real, visceral experiences, you’re gonna love this place. You’ll sleep well, you’ll bathe well, you’ll appreciate Athens more and if you’re lucky, you’ll find something cool hanging on the wall that will make you reach out to an old friend you haven’t talked to in 30 years to reminisce about that time in the 90’s when you saw an impromptu “Georgia Peaches” show. Just book it. You’ll love it.

Great space with a funky vibe

Great place to stay, close to UGA. Very eclectic decor which makes it a fun place to stay. Very roomy for a family of three and extremely well stocked. Would stay here again! Only note- high claw foot bathtub, so it might be difficult for some to step in.

Cozy thoughtful place

The hosts have really done everything they could think of to make this place as magical and welcoming as possible. From the well stocked snack and breakfast bar to the handwritten instructions about the little quirks in the house. We appreciated all of the attention to detail that made our stay so welcoming. There are so many blankets and pillows throughout the house, it is an incredibly comfortable place to stay. It's also exceptionally clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!!

I spent 6 days here in July and it was soooo good. I wasn’t sure what to expect but everything exceeded my expectations. Location is quiet but convenient - short drive to downtown and short walk to riverside trail. Cat was THE BEST host - great, easy to follow instructions and so many “extras”. Highly Recommend

Cute home, super welcoming host

This house would be great for adults to rent. I would not bring children here as there are a lot of very cute, knickknacks/antiques. The style of the home was amazing. We spent an hour just walking around looking at everything. The host left tons of snacks and goodies for us as well as suggestions of places to go. She was super friendly and super accommodating. The location was great to get to and from all the places we wanted to go. We weren’t more than 10 to 15 minutes away from everything.
