Spacious Family Mountain Retreat w/ Pool Near Pinecrest Lake & Dodge Ridge

Welcome to Château du Ray, a spacious mountain retreat nestled among the pines in the beautiful town of Twain Harte. What we love most about this home is the peaceful setting — surrounded by tall trees, fresh mountain air, and space to truly relax and unwind with family and friends.

One of the standout features of the property is the private walk-in style pool, perfect for enjoying warm summer days. The outdoor space also includes a large deck with comfortable seating and dining areas, creating the perfect place to gather, share meals, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the Sierra Nevada.

The main house comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests and features four bedrooms, including two primary suites (one with a cozy fireplace), along with multiple living spaces designed for connection and comfort. It’s a home where everyone can spread out while still feeling together.

For even larger groups, a separate guest house is available as an add-on and can accommodate up to 4 additional guests, making this property a unique option for large family gatherings or group trips.

Guests love the location just as much as the home. You’re a short drive from Pinecrest Lake for swimming, paddle boarding, and relaxing by the water, and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort for winter adventures. The charming town of Twain Harte offers local restaurants, shops, and a welcoming small-town feel.

What truly makes Château du Ray stand out is the combination of space, privacy, and flexibility. With room for large groups, a private pool, and the option to add the guest house, it’s a rare find in the Twain Harte area.

Whether you're planning a summer getaway, a winter ski trip, or a peaceful mountain escape, this home offers the perfect setting to make lasting memories.

Lindsey is so easy to communicate with and responds quickly to questions. House is in a great location, quiet, comfortable, well equipped, fun to hike in the woods up to the Ditch, pool is perfect for cooling off, and I could go on & on. This was our second summer visit and we will be back, if not next summer then we might try Spring for a change.

Beautiful property, great location

Lindsey was so easy to contact, fast to respond. House (bedrooms, bathrooms) worked perfectly for the 6 of us, fun and amazing pool. Location was great - quiet, peaceful, yet just minutes from the center of Twain Harte. Didn't need a thing except groceries. We will definitely re-book again.

Lindsay's family's home was fabulous!!! Very spacious, luxurious and clean. My friends and family and I loved the double ovens for cooking, the extra counters for work space. We loved the extra blankets and lap blankets for game night in the living room. The extra pool towels and the size of the pool! I Feel like the pool in the pictures does not give justice to the size and the depth of it. Its a picture perfect back drop from coffee on the porch, to pix of our friends floating. The cute squirrels, the trees, its an absolute hidden gem. We cannot wait to come back and will also get the extra guest house on property too. Lindsay was great with communication and helped with questions we had. 10 outa 10 recommend! Thx for sharing this magnificent home

The kitchen is very well equip with a lot of the gadgets you need and plenty of pots and pans. The rooms were all spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool was amazing and beautiful under the canopy of trees that surround it. We were so happy with our stay.

Born and raised in Manteca, I’m a mother of four, a salon owner, and a real estate agent with a passion for creating great experiences for others. When my grandparents decided to downsize, it was important to me to keep our childhood home in the family—a place filled with so many special memories.

We now feel incredibly fortunate to share this home with guests and to be part of the memories you create here. Being in the service industry, I truly care about making your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable from start to finish.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose Twain Harte for its peaceful mountain setting and small-town charm. Surrounded by tall pine trees and fresh Sierra Nevada air, it’s the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy nature.

What we love most is how close everything is. You’re just a short drive from Pinecrest Lake for swimming, paddle boarding, and scenic walks, and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort for winter adventures. The town of Twain Harte offers local restaurants, shops, and a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere.

Whether you're enjoying quiet mornings on the deck, exploring nearby trails, or spending the day at the lake or slopes, this area offers the perfect balance of relaxation and outdoor adventure.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Château du Ray offers a rare combination of space, privacy, and flexibility that’s hard to find in the Twain Harte area. The main house comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests, making it an ideal choice for large families and group getaways.

One of the standout features is the private walk-in style pool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying warm mountain days surrounded by tall pine trees. The spacious outdoor areas, including the deck and gathering spaces, create the perfect setting for spending quality time together.

For even larger groups, the option to add the separate guest house (which sleeps up to 4 additional guests) provides extra flexibility that most properties don’t offer.

What truly sets this home apart is its blend of comfort, natural beauty, and family history. This is not just a rental—it’s a home that has been part of our family for generations, thoughtfully shared to create meaningful experiences for others.
