Welcome to The Emerson! This cozy three bedroom home is perfect for families or work stays just off Lynchburg’s historic Rivermont Avenue. Relax in the private sauna, enjoy coffee on the deck, or focus in the bright office. Each room is designed for a comfortable, restful stay.

Located in a quiet neighborhood just off beautiful Rivermont Avenue, The Emerson is less than five minutes from downtown Lynchburg’s shops, dining, breweries, and historic sites. Walk or bike the Rivermont bike lane or explore Black Water Creek Trail just minutes away. Nearby, you’ll find Liberty University, Randolph College, and the University of Lynchburg. The Blue Ridge Parkway and local hospitals are all close by, making this a convenient home base for work or play.

The parking pad offers one car parking space. Three curb parking spots in the front of the house.

- The front yard and connecting deck are fully available for your use. Please do not use the backyard, as we are improving this area.
- We provide a pack-n-play and high chair upon request.
- Detailed sauna instructions will be sent before your stay.
1. No smoking inside the home
2. No parties or events. No unregistered guests or visitors without prior host approval
3. No eating in the bedrooms
4. Please respect the noise curfew. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM
5. Please remove shoes at the entrance. A shoe tray is provided by the door

Great location for both the church and the reception

Well decorated and provisioned place was perfect for 2 couples from out of state attending a wedding nearby.We enjoyed the location and amenities and the weather was perfect!

Perfect location

The house was just what we needed. My son played the NCAA golf tournament here so it was great they had a massage chair and Sauna in his bedroom.

Beautiful Renovated Home in Rivermont

This home was very comfortable for my friends & family. The decor and furniture was beautiful and modern. We also enjoyed the sauna! I will definitely book this spot again soon. We really enjoyed our time here! Thank you again for hosting us!

Pleasant place to sray

This was a pleasant place we stayed. Three children two dogs and four adults. We were there for a week and had a great time. Plenty of activities and shops close by. We even had the pleasure of some deer wandering into the backyard.

Cozy and quiet

The house was very cozy and comfortable for our stay. Plenty of small touches to make it feel homey and lots of space. The sauna was an added treat for a cool, fall evening. The house is located in a very quiet but accessible part of town with lots of amenities close by

Great stay! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay. We visited Lynchburg to attend a college graduation at Randolph College which is about 3 minutes away from the home. The house was clean, welcoming, and the communication with owner was great. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The home is on a very quiet street which was nice. We highly recommend it for your stay in Lynchburg.

Perfect location to meet our newest grandson

This property was perfect. I spent the days at my son’s house while my husband worked remotely. Only 1.8 miles separated us. We were able to walk to Rivermont Pizza with the crew, pizza was amazing. I definitely enjoyed the massage chair after a day with the grandkids. Definitely will book again!

Comfortable in Lynchburg!

Owner was great with quick and favorable answers to some special requests like hosting a couple of extra guests for dinner one evening and retrieving some valuables that were accidentally left. Home is older, but has been updated throughout and super clean. Comfortable mattresses, sheets, towels, showers, fully equipped kitchen and plenty of space for all of us.

Excellent In Every Way!

We (Family of four + Golden Retriever) stayed at this property for three nights for a swim meet. There were so many thoughtful touches- labels on drawers and light switches, instructions for how to use the sauna, how to park in the driveway since the property is at an intersection, etc. We had a question about check-in and got an immediate call back from the property manager. The location was near a gas station, grocery store, awesome local restaurants and historic sites, and a reasonable 15 minute drive to the Universities. 10/10 will stay here again.
