I loved this property! It was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The location is perfect. There is a supermarket and pharmacy just steps from the front door. There are also two department-store type shops on the street. The stores have everything from socks to evening gowns. The area felt very secure and well patrolled. My favorite feature of the apartment was the rooftop patio. It was absolutely beautiful! A wonderful space to sit and relax in nature. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was icy cold! The balance was perfect for Cartegena’s sweltering heat. The common areas were a bit warmer, but not uncomfortable with the fans on. The ceilings are very high and pull most of the heat upward. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for our luggage. The shower has hot water and good pressure. The caretakers,Rodrigo and Stella, made sure to check up on us during our stay. They were there to greet us upon check-in and gave us an introductory tour of the apartment. Also, we had a very small issue with the internet (my husband was trying to find the channel to watch the World Cup) and Rodrigo graciously took the time to explain how to connect to the external channels. The many amenities and excellent communication with the hosts made this apartment the perfect accommodations for our trip to Cartagena. I will definitely stay here again.
