Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire condo, balcony, and the detached one car garage. Guests will also have access to shared HOA amenities such as an outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and tennis courts. Note, some amenities are only open during the summer season.
The Neighborhood:
This centrally located home situated just off HWY 89 is a short 3-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe Ski Resort, and just a 7-minute drive to Alpine Meadows, placing you nearby some of the best ski runs in the area. During the summer months, enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path, located just a few miles from the home. A minute away is a bike rental location where you can rent bikes in the summer, or tune your skis and snowboards in the winter. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee just 13 minutes away. Or head into Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. With its easy access to ski resorts, bike paths, and the river, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
Getting Around:
Enjoy free shuttles during winter season with the Mountaineer app! The shuttles only service trips within Alpine Meadows & Palisades Tahoe.
Centrally located just off HWY 89 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop, you can get by without having a vehicle is needed. A two-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Tavern Inn. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short bus ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas, with just a 13-minute drive to Truckee and an 8-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter time, enjoy being only a 3-minute drive from the Olympic Valley Ski Resort and less than 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows.
Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.

Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Please note that there is another spot in the free or unassigned open parking spaces in the nearby parking area; the open parking spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that the shared amenities are located at back of the complex.
Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
