Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place located just minutes from downtown Roanoke not even mile off interstate 581, and only steps from Virginia Western Community College Campus. It was also only 2 miles from Carillon Roanoke Memorial Hospital and just 5 miles from Lewis Gale Medical Center. It is only minutes from many entrances to The infamous Roanoke River Greenway offering over 10 miles of paved trail within the city along the Roanoke river and the Mill Mountain Star.
The space
The property consists of 5 3 level condos this one in particular is located on the third floor, has 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds, a fully loaded kitchen, complimentary Kierug coffee bar, 4 piece bathroom, outdoor patio, paid washer and dryer in the building itself, not to mention a private desk area. It also comes furnished with 2 smart tvs and even a full size pullout couch. The unit is suitable for both long and short term stays.

Quiet stay

Our stay was quiet and comfortable. Our host was very responsive and we were glad to have such a relaxing stay with plenty of space for our family of three.

Good value and price

The condo was exactly like pictures. I can see where past guest had issues with cigarette smell but that doesn't bother me. The main suggestion i would have is that the maintenance came in while we were sleeping after a long night at work with no warning so with that I would have preferred to been made aware. Other than that it was comfortable and a good price and in a safe area. Thanks

Roanoke Review

We enjoyed our stay and it was convenient to our Roanoke family. The only suggestion would be to make the apartment smoke-free, "old" smoke smell was overwhelming when we first got there. It did improve some after opening the windows and using the fan.

Good and bad

First the good - the property was as described and clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Also close to downtown Roanoke, grocery stores etc. Now the bad - the stale smoke smell is ingrained in this place. Everything we took with us came home stinking of it and I'm not sure how many washes it will take to get rid of it. Also, while the location is close to good stuff, it is also just feet away from a freight train line , we were woken up late at night and very early in the morning by long, heavy, noisy freight trains rumbling past. So, overall 3/5 - I wouldn't book this place again.

Good location, bad smell

Condo reeked of stale cigarettes. My husband and I are not smokers and had a lot of difficulty tolerating the smell over the weekend. There was an AC unit that helped and the property was clean otherwise. However, that smell ended up getting into our bags and clothes, which resulted in having to wash everything when we got home. Location was as described, not walkable, but close to downtown. Would not recommend bringing anything you can’t easily wash.
