Summary:
Our house is located directly on the Middle Fork of the New River. We have a set of stone steps leading to a waterside landing where you can fish, swim, cool off, or just relax. You can enjoy the sounds of the river from the hot tub or one of two decks with water views.
The house is newly built (finished in April 2023) with a modern, bright interior style.
When you're not relaxing by the river, you're located just off 321, close to downtown Blowing Rock, Boone, the ASU campus, and more.
The Space:
When you drive up to our home and walk in, you'll see a bright, airy, and open living space. We have a seating area, dining space, and kitchen all located downstairs, with adjacent decks looking over the water. The living room has plenty of seating, and comfortable, cozy details, including a gas fireplace.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook.
We also have a half bathroom downstairs.
Upstairs are two comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms.
The primary bedroom has a king bed, double windows to let in natural light, a closet for guests, and a dresser for storage. You have an en suite bathroom as well. There's a TV in this room.
The second bedroom features two twin beds, a TV, and an en suite bathroom as well. There are also clothes storage in a guest closet and in a dresser.
Upstairs is also a living room with a new stackable washer and dryer, available for your use.
The outdoor areas include two decks, both with seating. One deck has a hot tub and grill available for your use.
We have direct access to the river, and a grassy area on the banks is part of our yard.
Also outside is a fire pit available for use.
Guest Access:
You'll have access to all areas of the home and the river during your stay.

Getting Around:
Since we are in a residential area that's directly off 321, it's an extremely accessible house. We have onsite parking; regardless of the time of year, you don't need a 4WD. You're close to both Boone and Blowing Rock and conveniences like grocery stores and coffee shops.
Other Things to Note:
We are on a residential street, so while you have privacy, you aren't entirely secluded.
We have a neighbor across the river, but across the street is only wooded with no neighbors. Since we are conveniently located off 321, you can access the house year-round without an SUV, but you may occasionally hear some of the noise from traffic.
It's easy to reach restaurants in Boone and Blowing Rock in a few minutes, and conveniences like Publix are just a few minutes away. You're close to Appalachian and the stadium.
We also have lots of family-friendly amenities and things in the house available for use. We have six river tubes, two backpack coolers, kids' fishing equipment, smores sticks, and a fire pit available for use.
I've provided a few things to make it easier if you're traveling with babies or toddlers as well, including dishware for kids, a high chair, a travel crib, and an inflatable bathtub. We provide carbon monoxide monitors and outlet covers as well.
