For the winter months, a 4x4 vehicle with 4WD or snow tires is ideal. Please drive slowly and carefully on the dirt road up to the home.

Beautiful place in a quiet location. The view from the deck was amazing, and everything was there to enjoy it as much as possible: rocking chairs, gas firepit and bbq, and hottub. Perfect for a recharge getaway!

Perfect mountain getaway

Wonderful location in the mountains, perfect spot for my family to hang out. Very clean and nice. The hot tub was great, clean and hot. Bailey was a fun little town to explore and visit. I highly recommend visiting!

This house was an excellent choice for a weekend away. Everything, and I mean everything, was labeled. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, pots and pans, needed to cook any meal we liked. The hot tub is large and nice. There is plenty of seating options throughout the home to enjoy every corner. Overall it was a very comfortable home, which felt complete and convenient! I didn't have to ask the host for anything since everything was readily available and easy to find. Also, the property is fenced well enough to contain my two large dogs. Smaller dogs could probably slip through the gate. The home is secluded enough that there was very minimal traffic. The road up is rough, as unpaved mountain roads are. 4wd/Awd would definitely be needed in the winter or wet conditions.

Comfortable and very well-appointed house, with beautiful views and a quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fenced yard for our fur babies. The kitchen was the best we've seen in a rental - thoroughly stocked with all the utensils you could ever need! The hot tub, fire table, and grill were great as well. One thing to be aware of is access to the house. The house is on a dirt road that is washed-out with considerable dips and ruts and the driveway to the house was difficult to get into - even with our AWD vehicles. The entrance to the home itself is also a bit tricky, with uneven steps and tree stumps to navigate from driveway to porch. It was fine once we got used to everything, but challenging for older folks or those who need assistance walking. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay and definitely recommended!
