Great place! Great stay!

We were very happy with the condo! Nicely updated, and very open! Beautiful view and short walk to the beach! Only cons would be the shower water pressure was a little light and towels looked a little dingy. But thats being picky! We highly recommend.

Great spot for families

We always stay at Kaanapali Royal when we visit Maui (family tradition). We love how easy the pool/grill area is to get to from the condos, as well as the ease of early morning walks down to the beach or sunset walks to whaler village. The condos always have lots of beach/pool stuff and pool towels so it makes traveling “light” a little easier. Kitchen was great and well-stocked with cooking essentials and we really enjoyed the sunset view from the upstairs master bedroom. Our 5yr old thought the big bed in her room was the best! Super nice to have a balcony, grill and outdoor lounge furniture, especially since we got a few days of rain while we were there - we could even do some whale watching with our binoculars from there. Great location within the condo complex and nice upgrades

Awesome place just needs TLC

Location was THE BEST. Pool access and jacuzzi just a skip away. Quiet friendly place, very family oriented. Minor maintenance details need attention, but never detracted from the overall experience of the place. On the whole, we loved it!

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful unit in good complex.Disappointed in the “starter” concept for sundries. ie: toilet paper, paper towel,, soaps, etc to last 2 days, no matter the rental length. Nice to have washer/dryer for personal items, but hoped for a bedding/towel exchange perhaps weekly. 19 days was a stretch.Found one live and two large dead cockroaches in the unit day 1.Expected better with a cleaning fee the price of a daily rent.Overall a very nice upgraded unit, which could use minor upgrades.Broken closet door tract on deck.Patch and paint certain walls: stairs, upper bathroom.Upgrade old microwave.Upgrade WiFi to a secure station.These comments are to notify the owner/manager to allow for information to improve and are not intended as a published review.We were very pleased with the unit and would stay again and do not want to adversely affect its rating.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice, spacious condo that is close to many amenities and the beach. Had the worst experience checking in, I was given the WRONG gate password right from the beginning so imagine driving to a new place in the evening stuck at the gate with no one available to help. After-hours (after 5pm) assistance is non-existent and we were fortunate that other tenants let us in. It took them 2 days to realize the wrong code wasgiven and nothing was done for compensation. Contacted the management team a couple times for different tissues and was overall not pleased with their response time or willingness to help. For example we needed more detergent pods for laundry as we were only given 4 for a 6 day/5 night stay. Their response was bluntly saying no because nothing will be supplied after the starter kit is finished.

Ocean views are slightly obstructed, but your staying in a wonderful gated space in a great location just a short walk from beach. This space had everything you need for a great Hawaiian vacation.

The views of the golf course and the Ka'anapali Beach resort areas including peek a boo ocean view were wonderful. Amazing sunsets also! The unit was very clean, although the walls could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. The kitchen was well equipped & there were beach chairs, towels, and also a small cooler to use. Great internet & cable were appreciated. Great communications with Vacation-Maui. Easy 10 minute walk to Whaler's Village shops or take the trolley from Fairway Shops down the road (runs every half hour, except during breaks). Lots of restaurants to choose from. One of our favourites is Kimo's in Lahaina. Save room for the Hula Pie ! Leilani's and Hula Grill also serve this wonderful dessert made for sharing! To sum it up, we loved our Maui vacation!

Great place in a perfect location!

Perfect spot in Kaanapali with easy access to the best beaches, golf, and a great pool and grill area. Condo was clean and roomy, and we did a lot of cooking and hanging out on the lanai. Can’t wait to come back!

The view from the balcony was fantastic for breakfast. The location was perfect to walk to the beach and nearby shops. Less driving and parking the better.

Great Location for beach vacation

This condo is located within walking distance to the beach and resorts. The interior main floor appears to be updated and is a great space. The balcony is nice with a gorgeous view of the golf course and the view from the upstairs bedroom is beautiful. The kitchen is new and well-equipped, but the kitchen faucet wouldn’t turn off completely unless you fiddled with the handle a bit. New carpet and paint is needed upstairs, but that is a minor cosmetic update. The comforter on the bed upstairs was soiled and stained. There were bugs in the upstairs bathroom that looked like bed bugs. I notified property management of this and their response: They put a duvet on the soiled comforter and said they would have someone spray a week after we were scheduled to leave. We had asked and confirmed prior to our arrival that the king bed in the downstairs room be separated into 2 singles. When we arrived the beds were not separated and they told us they would not separate the beds until after the first night stay. There is a $20/night parking fee that must be paid at the office in-person during business hours, so be sure to plan for that. We ended up having to cancel a morning in our itinerary in order to fulfill this requirement.

Nice and comfy!

This property was nice. We couldn't get the wine cooler to work and there was no laundry soap but the place was quiet and very comfortable. Balcony was great with the provided grill. Would stay here again!
