This home is extremely cozy! We go to indianapolis every new years. This was our third year. This home is so spacious! I would stay there again but it is a bit further than we liked from downtown and the famous mass ave but easy to het an Uber! We sat by the fire and watched Netflix when we got home after late nights and even played games. So relaxing after a basketball game and eating at so many neat places!! The kitchen was well stocked although who wants to cook in such a fun city? The beds were comfortable and the bathtub was very relaxing!! Host was wonderful sending us the information for arrival and we had no other contact because everything was perfect.

The refrigerator didn't get cold at all. Water leaked from the water dispenser on the refrigerator. The food smelled spoiled the next day. The kitchen water faucet was loose and leaked water onto the counter everytime you ran the water. The top stove oven door was broken. The kitchen floor has planks sticking up with a carpet floor runner over it. Another portion of the kitchen floor moves up and down when you walk on it. One of the bathrooms faucet cold water doesn't work. The upstairs shower drain backs up while your showering. The bathroom sinks back up quick, you can't brush your teeth or wash your face without shutting the water off every few seconds to let the water go down. All the glass, tables, dressers, counters, floors around the appliances, around the beds were filthy with thick dust. All the light fixtures had thick dust that looked sickening. The stove front and handle had grease dried eggs on it. The refrigerator crisper drawers were dirty with food. The beds appeared to be made up and fresh: they were not!! The sheets were dirty and one had dried food and crumbs on them. The trash outside was full. There was a full trash can on the front porch. We took our own trash bags to the dump. There was a nail sticking up out of the third step leading to the upstairs. My grandson was stuck by it. The bathroim and bedroom drawers had items in them, like dirty socks, used hair combs, bobbie pens, hair everywhere. Dirty clothes and random items. It was bad!!!

Location is perfect proximity to downtown. Plenty of space to allow family/friends to enjoy staying together. I am giving 3 stars as the house overall could use some minor attention. General dusting, cleaning of floors and running the vacuum is needed. Freezer & fridge had food and condiments left in it that needs thrown away. Basic maintenance and care is all that is needed to be 4 stars.

I messaged Chris about checking in and other questions about the property to which he responded promptly.The place was relatively clean but was missing some necessities like hand soap in one of the bathrooms and had some slow drains. Biggest issue for us was that we saw a mouse in the kitchen, but when I mentioned it to Chris he responded very promptly about getting an exterminator.My friends and I came for Gencon and the space was fine for that: comfortable, close enough to drive downtown, plenty of street parking when we came back. Neighborhood is quiet.

We loved this property. Centrally located and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. When we had questions, Chris responded immediately. I would stay here again for my next trip to see the fever play.

Great house and location

We loved the charm of the old house. It has many updates and had plenty of space for our large group. Room to spread out or be together. Chris was a great host and easy to reach if questions needed answering. Neighborhood seems to be up and coming. We enjoyed an evening at The Garage in Bottle Works district which was conveniently located to the house.

Great place to stay!

First and foremost, the host Chris is very responsive and friendly. He was more than happy to answer any of our questions and very accommodating. The location of the property is great for anyone visiting the downtown area and beyond. We visited the Gainsbridge Fieldhouse, the Indianapolis Zoo, and the childrens museum all nearby! Theres also a nice mall about 20 minutes from the property. There were 7 of us traveling together including 4 children and everyone had plenty of room. It was also nice that 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs so if you're traveling with younger children or elderly members of the family the the long staircase isnt an issue. Overall we had an amazing time and we would stay again.

Large space with Beautiful Finishes

My family of 11 including 4 kids and a teenager had plenty of room to get together in the kitchen and main areas. The location is close to everything we wanted to do and see while in town. The finishes in the house are beautiful! We were able to park 3 cars off street stress free. This is an ideal place for large gatherings while still offering separate spaces for relaxing, both inside and out.

At first glance the property inside is excellent, but as you stay it becomes more apparent these seems to have been a quick flip. There were cobwebs about the lights at the island, a fake acrylic nail in the main floor bathroom drawers that look like they are never cleaned out, the “curtains” are folder pieces of paper probably from Temu that are clipped up. There is nothing like sitting on the toilet going to the bathroom at night when the clips don’t hold up the “blind” and you are then staring directly into the neighbors window while you are lit up light the 4th of July on the golden throne. The fridge smelled funky, and the grate on the floor wasn’t large enough to cover the hole in the floor which could be a danger to little ones fingers. We were “okay” to sleep here, but would not return. There is Barca’s in the kitchen junk drawer if anyone needs it….? The property IS cute from the outside though and looks plenty inviting.

A graduation trip to remember

My family and I vacation often and this experience far exceeded our expectations. We traveled to Indianapolis for my son’s graduation and prom. Chris was an amazing host. Great communication the whole way through. My son stated that he was a very nice man when he dropped by the house to repair the washer for us. The space was amazing for our family as we had several adults and several children. The master bed and bath was very relaxing. There was a great selection of books in one of the bedrooms. Couldn’t have asked for a better quick getaway. Thank you Chris for welcoming us into your space.

It was a nice place, not the nicest area, but overall no issues and was what we needed for the busy weekend. Could have had a few more towels and was clothes/ shampoo, body wash and stuff to make this a great experience.

Would stay again.

Only had two issues, otherwise stay was excellent. Description said washer and dryer but the washer was missing. I was planning on using it. The other issue was the lock on the front door. Had trouble locking it and it didn’t always lock automatically.

Very good overall property. Pretty basic amenities but had all the essentials. Little off the beaten path but for the money, very good value for downtown Indy. Super easy & chill check in/out! inin/outprices.

2025 NFL Draft Combine

This was our first trip to Indianapolis for the NFL Draft Combine so finding a place to stay that was close, big enough to fit our party, and safe were at the top of the list. The hose met all that we were looking for and I would recommend staying there to anyone interested. Chris was very attentive to our needs and gave us great guidance on places to see and eat. We’ll be back again next year!
