Left us Stranded

Host deactivated account. VRBO never let us know. Fought with VRBO forever to get them to cancel and refund our money. Worst experience ever.

SCAM

Do not book this property it is a huge scam. We did not hear anything from the host leading up to the trip. And we called vrbo and told them about it we were also told that we should still make the drive just in case we get a response. We made the drive get to the place and there is someone at the house we knock on the door someone answers and we are told that “this house was not up for rent” I had to call vrbo 4 different times just to get a refund. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!!

Absolutely Horrible never got to stay here.

This host waited to after my check in time after i drove 7 hours to cancel my reservation with vrbo. There was 11 of is. 7 being kids. We had no where to go and vrbo is horrible too. I got my refund but it still hasn't hit my bank and their were no other places available. Vrbo set us in a hotel for a night until theu could find us a place. We got to thr hotel and the place wouldnt take us. I have spoke to so many people in vrbo and noone has helped me. I had to pay for 2 rooms.for 3 nights at some hotel. They promosed to call me back to put is in a hotel. They told me they will find me another vrbo place to stay and 4 days later...still absolutely nothing. Most horrible business i ever delt with.

Decent

Had very little communication with property manager/owner, had to contact VRBO for help getting info to gain entrance. I was told the spouse wouls also contact me with further info , that never happened. There was no instructions for check out , wifi info or any info at all in the properties , which is a bit unusual, so we just went with a normal check out procedure we have done on prior stays at other locations an yes took photos... i also highly suggest not using the word password as a log in password for wifi..... not very safe or secure for guests. Oh some simple maintenance such as light bulbs in the main lighting needs to be done. Other than that, neighborhood was quiet, and all in all the stay was good.
