Franklin Lake Escape

Bring the whole family (or two families) to this spacious cabin with lots of room for fun. We provide everything you need for your stay at the lake. Pack your food and clothes and make yourself at home! Franklin lake is over 1000 acres and is a great lake for all activities. The level frontage and sandy shore will offer endless entertainment for all ages. When you're done playing in the water, enjoy incredible views from the deck or patio.

This cabin is set up like a two-unit property. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and a sun room. The lower walkout level has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchenette, dining room, and a living room.

On the lower patio we have a large deck box. In it you will find several yard games including cornhole, spikeball, washers, and beach toys.

We are just a few short minutes from Maplewood State Park, which is know for their hiking, snowmobile, cross country, and snowshoe trails!

Nice spring getaway

Enjoyed our stay, the property was clean and comfortable for our three small families to spread out or be together. The kids loved the outdoors and playing by the lake.

Great central spot for the weekend

The Steam Threshers and the Trolls brought us to the area for a busy weekend and this property was perfectly placed for us. Then during the evenings we were able to relax on the shady patios. The kayaks were a lot of fun too.

Very nice cabin

Nice layout for our group of five. Water toys were fun. Upstairs kitchen was well stocked for cooking and had essential spices. Clean and very tastefully decorated.

Family vacation at lake Franklin

We had an amazing time at lake Franklin lake escape with our family! Property and lake access for our 2 boats was easy and enjoyable! Lots of yard to plan yard games! Holly was easy and quick at communicating!

Nice spot!

With 4 bedrooms, a full kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs, and three separate seating/hangout spots indoors + 2 fire pits and a nice dock … this was the perfect place for our end of school year week at the lake. They provide everything you could possibly need! (grill needs a deep clean so we didn’t use it) The host is super responsive and very friendly. Def reco if you want a super spot directly between Pelican Rapids and Detroit Lakes. We did the Troll Hunt, found them all, and had so much fun!
