Welcome to this freshly designed ranch-style home. We are in our mid-term rental season from October - April and will only accept booking inquiries of 30+ days. If you are looking for a temporary furnished home, this is for you! Pets will be accepted on case-by-case basis. Reach out to host to inquire. If you have alternative dates, inquire of the host to check potential flexibility. All mid-term guests must provide proof of income, credit score, and background check before being accepted.

We are transplants from the Washington, D.C. area. After we moved to Alaska we became excited about sharing its peace and beauty with others. Hosting travelers seemed to be a logical move. It truly brings us joy to prepare a comfortable space for you to rest, adventure or work from.

The property is in a quiet neighborhood outside of Wasilla city limits on a partially paved, partially dirt road. It is a gorgeous wooded area alive with wildlife--especially birds and moose. The land is naturally covered in rocks and tough northern plants.

The interiors of this little ranch-style home have been freshly updated and designed for comfort and beauty. Each bedroom opens into the common area, creating a natural meeting point for family and friends vacationing together. The house is equipped with fast and reliable WiFi and a smart TV with all the major streaming apps on it.
We are still reclaiming the yard from the Alaskan wilderness, so there is minimal landscaping at this point. But there is a fire pit in the backyard that you are welcome to use during your stay!
